Scientists say a fault-line running across Alaska could cause tsunamis of the same magnitude as the Japanese disaster of March last year. Attention has turned to the Alaskan-Aleutian subduction zone, a region where one of the earth's tectonic plate, carrying the Pacific Ocean, drops beneath the North American plate. A particular section of the fault near the Semidi Islands has not ruptured since at least 1788, and measurements on this area - which lies four to five kilometres under water - reveal the pressure is accumulating rapidly. If the Pacific Ocean plate slips, as happened in the geographically-similar Tohoku subduction zone off the coast of Japan, a tsunami could occur - and the deaths could happen as far away as Hawaii and California.

Seismologists have also been concerned about the area west of Yakutat around Kayak Island for many years. In this area the Pacific plate subducts under the North American plate and there haven’t been any quakes for a long time. I read one estimate that when this area ruptures it could be like the 9.2 mag Good Friday earthquake of 1964.

The Cascadia subduction zone, right off Oregon / Washington is capable of similar behavior.
Amazing how the scientists never mention the threat of the Borg coming to earth.

Scripture is moderately clear that there will be unprecedented quakes in the END TIMES.
Alaska certainly has lots of seismically active areas near and under its coastal waters.
Just looking at lawlessness flood the planet and globalism advance apace . . . folks who deny that these are the END TIMES are walking in horrific denial and cluelessness.
Increasingly dramatic wake-up calls are scheduled—man-made wars, by God and otherwise.
