Now Tyler 's parents allow him to live as a boy, and the 5-year-old is reveling in his new identity.

Kathryn wanted pants. And short hair. Then trucks and swords.
Her parents, Jean and Stephen, were fine with their toddler’s embrace of all things boy. They’ve both been school teachers and coaches in Maryland and are pretty immune to the quirky stuff that kids do.

But it kept getting more intense, all this boyishness from their younger daughter. She began to argue vehemently — as only a tantrum-prone toddler can — that she was not a girl.
“I am a boy,” the child insisted, at just 2 years old.
And that made Jean uneasy. It was weird.

Jean and Stephen gave up trying to force Kathryn to wear the frilly dresses that Grandma kept sending. Kathryn wanted nothing to do with her big sister Moyin’s glittery, sparkly pink approach to the world. (Moyin attends school with my son, which is how I came to know the family. The Washington Post is using the family’s middle names to protect their identity beyond their community, where their situation already is widely known.)

I don’t mean to be crude here, but what good are non-working parts.
What good is it in constructing a home made vagina or penis that doesnt have the appropriate organs to back it up.
What good is a home made vagina with no womb, or a finger turned into a penis if the scrotum is not there?
I confess I am not very knowledgeble in such affairs, but if the ability to achieve natural orgasm is taken away, what have they ended up with? A sham.
In the female to male operation there is no erection and not much chance of orgasm in the male to female operation it is mostly for cosmetic purposes.
This child who thinks she is male will probably be able to compete with boys, but as she grows she will never be able to compete with men.
The fundamental job of a parent is to help their children sort out an order from the chaotic and unknown world they are born into. Children are born without any experience or history in this world. These parents have and are failing their child. This isn’t normal. It isn’t genetic, it is environmental.

There are exceptions. Justin Bieber seems to be making out alright.
From the stories of these “trans-gendered” children, it seems a disproportionate number are only children or families of the same gender of children.
Having a second child, a boy, might be a solution for this family, compared to mutilating their daughter.
Or even saying, “you’re a TOM-boy, go play with the boys, we’ll see how you feel at 13”. When puberty hits, her attitudes may totally change.

Over or under androgen production during gestation causes intersex disorders which has nothing to do with homosexuality.
Even the APAs admits there is no homosexual gene.

I honestly do not understand how a psychiatrist can say that an Elementary School kid is trapped in the wrong body.It’s a child who really doesn’t know what’s going on.
As far as the transsexual adults are concerned,I bet many of them are sorry they went through the transformation. We won’t hear about it because of the LGBTQ and the Libs.
I can’t imagine having my child put on puberty blockers.Some of these procedures are irreversible and then the child/teen is screwed.
It ain’t nice to fool Mother Nature!
How on earth did ‘Chaz’gain all that weight? Was it from the hormones? Yikes!
