Karl Rove: North Carolina and Indiana Are ‘Gone’ for Obama, Wisconsin a ‘Battleground’ State
The Blaze ^ | 5/20/2012 | Madeline Morgenstern

Posted on 05/20/2012 3:07:43 PM PDT by Signalman

Republican strategist Karl Rove said Friday he believes North Carolina and Indiana are “gone” for President Barack Obama in November and that Wisconsin has become a “battleground” state.

“I think North Carolina is gone just like Indiana is gone. Obama has no chance to win them,” Rove told Fox News host Bill O’Reilly. “I think Ohio and Florida are leaning today towards Romney. I think places like Iowa and Colorado are in danger of floating into the Republican column. And states like Nevada and Pennsylvania are moving from lean Democrat into toss-up category. And on June 5th, mark my words, we will have more poll data than we got today that is going to show that Wisconsin’s a battleground state.”

Like it takes some kind of genius to see this?

Obama is going to be swept out of office.

Rove and Morris are non-ideological technicians who whore themselves to whomever will give them money, fame and power.

But they are competent technicians who know their stuff.

I just don’t see why the hell anyone would be helping the other side as “fun.”

I think the bottom line here is that there is a small but significant number of very vocal FReepers who think that Romney's Mormonism is a more worthy target for unrelenting opposition than Obama's leftism and corruption.

Romney just can’t help himself. He has these big money guys who are really interested in Gay Marriage and if Romney wants to keep the big bucks flowing he has to show them he’s still interested in the lifestyle eh.

Wait a minute. Romney himself INVENTED GAY MARRIAGE in Massachusetts.

So if Obama is FOR IT how does he get hurt if all he does is say "Hey, I'm for it" and he's campaigning against the guy who IMPOSED it on the innocent people of Massachusetts.

Let me add one more thing to your description of Morris. His predictions are almost always wrong.

He called the Republican landslide in 2010 before anyone else.

Romney needs say nothing more about gay marriage.

During the televised presidential debates when the liberal media takes a random youtube question from a homosexual marine, for example, what is Romney supposed to say ... "no comment"? Should he lie? Perhaps you think he can dance around the question? As soon as the crack appears, Obama will call him out on it and make him look the hypocritical fool. Wait for it; you'll see it *when* (not "if") it happens. He's lost the point months before the question has even been asked.

I agree with you. Minnesota is a state that admires and embraces socialism. Minnesota will remain blue for many years to come.

All he has to do is say “I believe that marriage is between a man and a woman.”

You are just making all of that up.

You honestly believe he can say that in front of Obama, or any liberal news member for that matter, after signing so many gay marriage certificates of his own volition? In minutes he'll be wearing more egg on his face than the floor at an egg buffet on Sunday. It's not like his gay marriage history is any kind of secret, nor does it jive with any kind of conservative platform.

All he has to say is that it is a state’s rights issue. End of story.

You get back a week or so and the Posties are naming gay names who donating millions to Romney pacs. I’m not sure why I would need to make any of this up.

How does Rove enjoy a reputation as such a “seer?”

I always thought that Rove reminded me of Mr. McGoo. He can’t see the road ahead.

I would trust Rove’s predictions in regards to elections much higher than Dick Morris. Hope he’s spot on with it.

I think you are on to the tack he'll be forced to take ... My point is that he will be unable to avoid it and the damage it brings him. To you it may be the "end of story"; and the 22'ish% of republicans Romney consistently carries will be on board as well. But the remainder will be faced with a challenge of conscience; the resolution of which will not consistently fall in Romney's favor.
