I'm a big fan of the "Mass Effect" series but I gotta say the ending of ME3 made me go "What da heck???" Really? It was that much of a head scratcher.
But folks, it's just a game!
It must be a generational thing. After seeing the rants (some emotional) on You Tube it makes me think how misguided some are. Have we sunk this far?
We celebrate and remember Memorial Day for those who gave their all. It would be nice to turn off the XBOX once and a while. The departed don't get a "reset" button.
Just wanted to get if off my chest.
What is “Mass Effect?”
I thought this was a Catholic thread...
That adults get so emotional and spend so much time on video games makes me sad.
Merge, control or delete. Perfect! I thought it would have been silly if Shepard had to the cliche ending ie. kill the queen or some other claptrap. Perfect.
I heard the ending was terrible, so I won’t bother finishing the campaign.
Though I’ll say, seeing pictures of 9/11 on that day gets me the most emotional. My grandfather is the only member of my immediate family, then it includes cousins and the like, to have been in the military; and at that, he’s a WWII and Korean war-era vet: he didn’t see combat. So I can’t relate like other people on here can.
But when talking about things like that that make you emotional, if the Ender’s Game movie is pulled off well enough, I won’t have dry eyes when I walk out of the theater.
And I know I’m going to cry when the Enterprise opens on the USS Intrepid.
Now Fork Over an extra $10 for the complete ending, Suckers!!!!
We’re obviously of different generations......and I completely get your point.
Thank you.
Would that more of your generation grow up, pay attention, do their own homework, and understand your point.
God bless.
Thank You Lord for those brave souls!!!
What makes me sad is pretend warriors thinking that the stupid video game is anything like being on the field of battle. After you have smelt the smells and seen the sights that video crap is not interesting....bunch of dumb wanna bes
Thank You Lord for those brave souls!!!
Amen!
What has more eternal value: Those who have sacrificed their lives for the freedom of generations of Americans or a computer game? Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13. Those we remember on Memorial Day are the ones who died so we can spend the time with our families they can't spend with theirs. Memorial day is not a day that should be sad, but a day when we should all be proud of America and its hard won heritage.
I know the future of America is in peril, but if we all had the spirit and dedication of those we should remember each memorial day then America's future can be even brighter. On memorial day we remember those Americans who have been the most noble. God Bless America
