You’ll be fine. In and out in 15 minutes. I had both of mine replaced back in 2009. It’s not a big deal, it’s routine. Actually, they don’t put you to sleep. You are there but not there if you know what I mean. I could hear them talking as they were doing mine. It’s wierd. Oh well. good luck, you’ll be just fine.

Everyone I know who has had it in the last few years is amazed at how much better they can see.

I wish you luck and hope everything is fine , as I am sure it will be.

Happy vision.

Luck not needed, just the Lord’s care. You put this off, but you will be so happy when it’s done and you can see to photograph those stunning pictures even better.

You'll be sniping in the swamps in no time.

Any eye surgery is scary as h*ll, though.

Don’t worry about the surgery. It really is quick, with practically no pain later. I had both eyes done in 2008, and went from lifelong myopia to normal distance vision, although now I will always have to use reading glasses for ordinary print. The doctor tells me that the lenses may eventually get deposits that will need to be removed by laser, but no sign of that yet. My eyes were also very light-sensitive for some months after the operations.

Best wishes to you, and enjoy your restored vision.

It is a breeze, just don’t go for new glasses to soon, and there might be a film that develops a few weeks or months down the road, they zap it off with the laser, and it is painless. Had both done. And both developed film, even though they were done 11 years apart. The new technology is so far advanced than it was a decade ago...worse thing is all those drops you have to use.

Have your regular Optometrist do the refraction as often ophthalmologist get it wrong, it is not their field after all.

I’m sure this surgery will go amazingly well, and that you’ll be as delighted with the results as everyone else I’ve known has been. :)
