Reports have surfaced that President Barack Obama is very loyal to his barber. The President is a man of the common people, the report tells its listeners. He hangs out with regular folks, like his barber for example. The President has been using the same Chicago based barber, who goes by the name Zariff, for the past 17 years.
According to German Public Radio, the President flies Zariff from Chicago to DC for a trim every two weeks.
The president allegedly personally funds these trips.
President Obama obviously also does not care much about the massive carbon footprint his haircuts are leaving on our planet which, we are told, is tipping precariously.

But I've only had 3 people cut my hair in 35 years.
Guy is obviously an information carrier, a way for him to communicate discretely to objectionable people.
Personally funds these trips?? Really?? Watch what the other hand is doing.......
I still use the same barber I used in 1965.
My dad had the same barber for about 40 years amazing

it must be getting pretty long
He should shave his head in the shower every morning. It’s a good way to save money and eliminate the gray hair problem.
I’ve been cutting my own hair for close to 20 years :-)
Why the hell does he need a special barber to shave his ‘fro? He has the most basic hairstyle I have seen.
A #1 setting on a pair of standard clippers will do the job without mistake
Zariff....Nice Muslim name
Why do we have to have this provided to us by German Public Radio?
What a dramatic wuss that guy is. Other than the back of his neck, he could easily do his own hair with some clippers. My barber charges $8 for a haircut, and I tip him $2 when I get my 1 1/2 butch every three months. I could get a lifetime of haircuts for the cost of one of pansy-arsed Zero’s cuts.
Flo-Bee?
I used one for 16 years then switched vacuum systems and now go to a regular barber.
Oh you are good... Man just like when a mobster can talk to his Doctor in private, Brilliant...
[ Guy is obviously an information carrier, a way for him to communicate discretely to objectionable people. ]
How much you wanna bet he doesn’t even get groped by the TSA
Silky Pony must be jealous..
Let me introduce you to my barber...

What? And that makes it okay?
His effin paycheck comes the ^taxpayer^ so he is using taxpayer money!
I don’t think that matters, it is all in his brain.
He is just a verbal conduit.
Wouldn’t be surprised he is on speed dial on the blackberry though.
Too bad Eliott Spitzer and Anthony Weiner couldn’t suggest some other folks for O to fly into the White House. Also Bubbalicious Bill Clinton could also impart with some wisdom. Forget Monica —if Sista Michelle caught Monica in the oval office Sistah would wipe the walls, floors and ceiling with her fat butt.
Dude flies someone in for what he could practically do himself?
That ain’t no hairstyle that’s some easy electric shear work and can’t take more than 5 minutes.
Maybe the stylist is coloring Barry’s hair gray to give him a distinguished look?
Milton Pitts (4 July 1912 25 December 1994) was the White House barber for Republican U.S. Presidents Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, and George H.W. Bush.
While Pitts was a staunch Republican, he always maintained that “my scissors are neither Republican nor Democrat,” and he counted Democratic Senator George McGovern among his clients.[1][2] Democratic President Jimmy Carter did not use Pitts, though, and instead brought in two hairstylists, Yves and Nancy Graux. President Reagan’s Chief of Staff James Baker dismissed them in July 1982 and Pitts again became the sole White House barber.[3]
During his years in the White House, Pitts won acclaim as “Washington’s most famous barber.” He appeared on Late Night with David Letterman on May 24, 1982.[4] His twentieth anniversary celebration in 1985 was attended by numerous dignitaries including President Reagan, Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger, Secretary of State George Shultz and Attorney General Edwin Meese.[5][6]
Pitts regularly gave his clients advice, both fashion and political, and was well-known for speaking frankly: he once “suggested that Richard Nixon do something about his nose and told Gerald Ford his ties were too loud.”[7] When President Bill Clinton received a $200 haircut from the Beverly Hills stylist Christophe, Pitts criticized Clinton and said the price amounted to “showmanship” on the part of the barber.[8] In the years after he left the White House, Pitts typically charged $25 for a haircut at his shop in the Sheraton-Carlton Hotel.[1][9]

“Ive been cutting my own hair for close to 20 years :-)”
Me too. Spent $19.95 on a wahl home hair cut kit. Haven’t been to a barber since.
The only ones that would dare to report this.
Zarif is an arabic name. Boy, for a guy who claims to be a devout Christian, Obama hangs w/many muslims.
Ghetto version of Sharif
You have got to be kidding me? At this price, John Edwards’ haircuts were a bargain!!!!
Maybe we mistook Reggie Love as Obammy’s squeeze. Perhaps it’s the barber instead. Probably shaves his bikini line as a prelude to sex.
A FlowBee and some Just for Men is all the nappy-headed W.H. occupant needs.
I’m sure the President could get a good haircut at Fort Meade, or Marine Corps Base Quantico and save us all some money...
OK, so it costs $300 to fly coach from Chicago to DC.
The barber will need a taxi, meals and perhaps a night stay at a hotel, so add another $300 or $400.
Obama’s hair cuts cost about $600.
Flying from Chicago to Washington DC produces 50,000 pounds of carbon emissions.
Obama also flies out his personal trainer from Chicago.
Must be nice to be king.
Zariff. No infidel touches the King’s hair.
“A #1 setting on a pair of standard clippers will do the job without mistake”
Exactly what I did about an hour ago.
You forgot the cost of the cut itself.
Maybe the haircut also comes with a ‘blowout’?
“Flo-Bee? I used one for 16 years then switched vacuum systems and now go to a regular barber.”
I’ve been using one for about 20 years. When I have to get a new vacuum I make sure it accommodates the Flo-Bee.
Lets just say I get my money's worth when I do go to the barber.
I guess I'm lucky, my brother is 5 years younger and finally just shaved his head. ...which is not a bad thing for Texas summers.
Yep, probably gets scuttle-butt from the 'hood and a couple eight-balls.
My wife is a hairdresser. I haven’t paid for a haircut since 2002. She gives me a GI haircut every two or three weeks. Not a whole lot of work involved for her as I don’t have a whole lot of hair.
I don't know if the article is quoting the youtube since can't play youtube at work....
But the man of the common people doesn't fly his barber in every two weeks for a trim...
I wonder who dropped the dime on Obama on this little elitist perk
I am sure Obama finds a way to write off this expense so he is not really paying or it
I am sure in his mind he deserve such treatment, after all he is the potentate of the USA
Guy is likely trusted more than his Wife
He needs a special barber flown in for that buzzcut he has? Come on! That barber’s got something else Obama wants.
Obama Flies Special Barber To WH Every Two Weeks, wink wink.
A blowtorch would be cheaper.
/sarc
Sounds like a courier to me.
Barber named Zariff . . . espionage, maybe? Who would suspect the barber . . . besides me. . . .
Lets just say I get my money's worth when I do go to the barber.
