Practice makes perfect.....post on....
this word does scream Obama’s name, there is no way around it.
Did you see my tweet yesterday from the pool?
This teen girl sitting near me takes a can of spray on sunscreen, closes her eyes and sprays it all over her face.
All I could do was shake my head silently.
Meh, I’d be far happier putting a smile on Rebecca Kleefisch
it IS sad, but it’s always sad when people make life choices that involve serial sex partners which then expose their kids to these stepdads etc. with no continuity or stability. she happens to be a famous, nice looking woman, but skanks everywhere do this daily.
If you could have heard the interview you would have been disgusted by McCarthy. Of course Stern egged her on - but she acted like JC was the Father of this kid and had become a deadbeat dad. Sure they were close and it is sad when anyone breaks up (although they were NOT married), but JC has no connection to that child other than he was banging his Mother. He has no rights - it could just as easily have been him wanting to see the boy and her saying No. But she is whining all over the place about him not caring enough, blah blah.
You’ve upped your standards?
It was a great article, considering I posted all the points it made....LAST WEEK ; )
Whoa....?
You’re going feminazi on Dave, yet admit ot listening to the King of All Media?
Whoa....?
You’re going feminazi on Dave, yet admit to listening to the King of All Media?
Buffy the Vampire Slayer? What do you watch on TV?
yeah i did, twitter and Words with Friends were all i had to keep me entertained on the 6 hour drive back from OHIGHA. that is during periods when i had a dog-free lap. jules and chan fought over who could sit in my lap in the front seat. and in HS, xsteen learned a lesson that you have to blend the sunscreen or you will have a spotty burn just by spraying it on.
Soother has pretty much admitted he has no standards when it comes to women OR tv shows... ; )
That’s not the point. I don’t believe you are supposed to spray it directly onto your face.
Unless things have changed, it tells you to spray it on your hands and then apply it to your face.
Not inhaling aerosol fumes and whatever chemicals are in it, or getting it into your eyes is the idea.
Only girls that wont sleep with me can be considered stupid.
...smartypants....
I have excellent taste in TV and movies. I may watch some junk, but if I’m talking about it it’s because it is good/interesting/unique.
We are back from our visit to Trumbull County, OH. Blessed Sacrament was the happiest of slaps at 9 am Mass. For one thing, the bulletin had contact info in it for anyone wanting to go and protest the EXECUTION of whatever scum bag that OH is going to off in the near future. Secondly, they do NOT KNEEL at all in that place. they took the kneelers out of the front part, and while we had kneelers where we were sitting, NO ONE KNEELED. holy crap, isn’t that one of the outward manifestations that distinguishes us from the Protestants? xsjr said, i don’t care, i’m kneeling, and so she knelt. we had talked about going to whatever the conservative church is in Vienna, instead, but then i said we have no chapel veils with us and both xsjr and i had white jeans and sleeveless tops that we brought to wear to Mass and if it’s anything like St Anthanasius here in McLean, i know that would not be appropriate.
Then we met my bro and family at the Bob Evans for brunch. Xshub leans over to my bro and says “that guy has a TEAMSTERS tshirt on...” and my bro looks at him, like, yeah, so? they are so inured to it being union goon territory that they got a kick out of our wide-eyed staring. the back of the Teamsters shirt said HOFFA HALL on it even. Plethora of American made cars, and many many BARS. that was an account of our field trip to OHIGHA : )
Your family had never seen a union t-shirt before? Really?
Did you buy any fireworks while you were there? Their laws are quite liberal on this subject.
well at least you don’t pretend to have standards in re;women...
you do occasionally get out of the provinces and notice that things are different elsewhere from your provincial shire? well same goes for us. it’s not that we haven’t seen it before, it’s just damn rare. VA is a right to work state, union goonage is not on display.
and i think fireworks are beyond stupid, so no, we did not buy any! plus we have them here in spades for anyone who is interested.
It’s all daydreaming, so I see no need to be too concerned beyond surface features.
my IQ dropped just looking at the little smiley faces in your dang post!
Not everyone in a union is a goon, of course. Especially in closed shop states.
I would have thought you had seen the occasional SEIU or AFSCME people down there.
That’s ok, you’re still at least a 10.
Oh and wait, are you saying I'm feminazi for saying men shouldn't be expected to stay in touch with an old girlfriend's kids???? Isn't that the opposite of feminazi?
So, like Jimmy Carter, you are lusting in your heart?
We had an interesting neighbor when we lived in PA. He was an electrician but conservative and not at all supportive of unions. He lost his job and was out of work for a couple of months and eventually hired but had to join a union. Within months he became the biggest puke liberal - believing George Bush was going to draft his pampered idiot son and screeched at me that his son was not going to fight for GWBush! This from a guy who was a rabid Dallas Cowboy fan in Eagle territory...but since I was from Texas and a conservative, I represented GWB. Did I mention I never liked him, even before he turned into a union thug?
it’s far less noticeable here and it usually just a bumpersticker at best. i guess you just can’t envision the glaring difference bc it’s what you are accustomed to seeing and you don’t venture too far afield other than work trips and the occasional beach trip/7 Springs [which is not really all that different]. Xshub is from New Hartford, NY and he kept commenting on how Warren OH looked exactly like New Hartford in many ways. You see white suburban teenagers manning fastfood drive-thrus, big huge carwashes where you can wash the car yourself etc. Yes, i know, that is de rigueur where you live, it’s not like that in suburban VA.
Someone has flipped Whyisa’s feisty switch to the ON position today! LMAO! you haven’t been fired up in awhile, but you are in fine form this AM! i love it!
We only see white kids working at Chik Fil A - rarely at any other fast food joints.

Haven’t you been wondering to yourself “Can they use the latest TSA body scanning technology to help me find the right pair of pants?”
Yes, they can.
I know you have no teenagers of any color working fast food down there. But no DIY carwashes?
i have to tell you the story about boarding the dogs up in Warren. They have the Howland Pet resort, we had boarded them there 4 years ago when my niece got married, so we were excited to have some place nice to leave them while we were at the grad party etc. We got them there on Sat for the 3pm check in. the woman behind the desk didn’t inspire a ton of confidence, she couldn’t find their paperwork etc {we had to have our vet fax their shot records etc] but she did finally come up with it, and i gave her the feeding instructions etc. And said, so we will pick them up tomorrow at noon? and she said oh definitely BY NOON, bc we lock the door and go to lunch and no one will be here etc. So fine, Sunday AM, we went to Mass and then had brunch with my bro and his fam and were swinging by to pick the dogs up before stopping back at my brother’s house to say goodbye etc. So we pull up to the pet hotel at 11:30 am, not a car in the lot, locked up tight. not a good sign. so we knock no answer, and the plate on the door says Sundays office open 4-7. SO xshub looks ready to jump down my throat about that until i pull up the website and it has NOTHING on there about sunday pickups 4-7, it makes no distinction about days of the week and has pick ups listed as by noon. He was with me in there on Saturday and heard the woman reiterate that we had to get them BY NOON. so we called the # and of course no one is answering, no one is IN THERE. we are starting to panic, thinking oh great we will be starting our 6 hour drive home at 4 pm!! he was googling other boarding kennels and i was calling them, to see if anyone knew the owners name etc. NO luck. I called my SIL to explain the problem and say we would leave a note on the door with my cellphone # and that xshub would drop xsjr and i at their house and he would come and sit outside and wait, hoping someone would eventually show to feed/let the dogs outside etc. By the time we got to their house [literally 2 min away] my SIL had called her friend Beth who boards her dog there. She is a CPA, she knew the owner’s hub who is also a CPA, so my SIL got the woman’s # and i was able to call her at home. I said, you really do need to have some sort of emergency # listed because had my SIL not happened to know someone who KNEW you, we would have been cooling our heels til 4pm, bc YOUR EMPLOYEE said we could get the dogs at noon, and if i was told that the place wouldn’t be open then we would have made other arrangements. it all worked out ok, but it was nerve-wracking as hell.
That’s annoying.
Posts 32,43....Women’s Libber you are. ; )
well now that you mention it we DO have white teenagers working at the Chickfilas!
i don’t know how far out you have to go to find those, but i live 2 miles outside the beltway, there are none that i know of.
Yes. You can buy just about anything. Then you have to sign a paper saying you are taking them out of state to explode them. Which in yinz cases would be true.
I’ve been to both churches you mentioned, but only one of them more than once. You can guess which.
So how do people of more modest means clean their cars? Or don’t they?
I saw on the news recently someone started a service in downtown Pittsburgh where they will come out to your car where it’s parked and wash it. It’s all “green” with minimal water use.
wash it at your own house, i guess? a quick drive thru carwash attached to the Exxon station can be $7-8, how much is it for do it yourself? it’s $11-13 or so to get out, have them do it inside and out.
Tysons Corner Mall and Pentagon City mall both have a part of the parking garage where someone will wash/detail your car while you shop.
A minimum of $1.75 in my neighborhood. That gets you 2:30. I usually use about $4-5 for a rinse-wash-rinse-wax-”spot free” rinse.
xshub enjoyed going to the one dahn in Holiday Park, Plum Boro, when we would visit my dad.
There is no rhyme nor reason
To how Obama does his job-
One day he jets around scolding-
The next, he’s a faineant snob
I suppose the latter is better-
When he’s golfing, just having fun
He isn’t spreading misinformation
And he’s not taxing anyone
If he’d keep Michelle Antoinette
Quieter, and off AF1 as well
It’d keep us from having to pay for
The illusion she is trying to sell
Haha - sorry, Dave is so much fun to bat around....
Oh wow, it then sends your body fat ratio to the White House! lol
A+++ great job!
I was thinking of pimply-faced geeks watching the scanner images when the hot girls go in for a scan.
If those posts make me a women’s libber, they make you a rapist. lol
wow, how did the owner react to what you all went through?
Love love love your poems!
