Skip to comments.Obama gets back to black voters with his 'We've got your back' radio ad

Called "We've got your back", it is a 60-second radio spot the first ad of the 2012 season to specifically target black voters. One does not imagine the Romney campaign will follow suit (though I wish it would).
It begins Tuesday 12 June.
It is being placed nationally to run on radio stations with a predominately black audience. Unlike most ads, which are targeted geographically, this ad is aimed demographically. That means in some swing states with a large African-American population, such as Virginia or North Carolina, it could serve as a boost to win a battleground. But in other states, it will serve as a morale-booster for core supporters: helping fundraising and get-out-the-vote efforts.

Most racist president in US history.
I wonder what kind of kerfuffle would result if Romney’s campaign aired an ad designed to specifically target white people, or maybe just Mormons?
The next step is for Obama to start wearing saggy pants and to put 22 inch rims and bouncing shocks on his limo.
Blame the anti-Christ divider who told voters he'd be a uniter. He has personally set race relations back 45 years on purpose and has ripped off the scabs of old wounds, repeatedly telling black people that no white person could ever respect them.
He's poisoned by hate and a loathing for American.
The black community is against aborting babies and marrying homosexuals.
He’s got to get them to be obedient in spite of his agenda if he is to get their support in 2012.
Democrats are strangers to truth.
Beck was discussing this this morning, and they were making fun of it, saying what if Romney had an ad like this, targeting white people, or Mormons with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in the background....
You bet there’d be a LOT of coverage and “kerfuffle” over that. But not a peep about Obama’s RACIST ad. Pffffft
Not what I’m hearing from my black and mulatto friends and relatives.
They say he has made them look really stupid for one thing. They also see the ‘communistic side’ emerging and as much as they would have liked the first black president to be a great inspirational leader, he’s just not doing it for them.
The morgage fiasco only made it worst for some.
Most intend to not vote this election.
Lamest commercial ever.
Seriously, it was low quality, uninspiring, and reeked of desperation.
That was intended for post 1 not you. Sorry
Republican counter message might be:Does he have the back of hispanics too who voted for him in droves? Or does he have a favored minority group to the exclusion of all others?
Sounds like a cross between a baraq speech and a McDonalds commercial.
Horrors! A reference to those awful guns Democrats are always accusing Republicans of referencing! Next thing you know, they'll be putting targets on their websites and saying, "Make my day!"
Obama : “We got your back . . up against the wall”.
Take his back and keep it.
