Yep, I figured I'd draw him in. Like how my porch light draws moths and flies. Not sure if he's serious or just brown-nosing the owner of this site. But I agree with you, like it or not, Romney is the GOP candidate.
Anybody thinking that there will be some sort of "surprise" at the convention is just dreaming. Romney won the nomination fair and square and even the Gingrichs and Santorums of the world are lining up behind him (and Palin not far behind). Romney is getting the nomination and that is that.
We can argue all day long on how Romney is not the most conservative candidate. I agree that we could have done much better. But it is what it is and we must play the hand that has been dealt us. We might have been dealt a pair of eights but the dealer is showing a six so we might as well stand on the 16 and wait for the dealer to bust.
Romney has done an excellent job so far on the campaign trail. He’s good at kissing babies and shaking hands, which the liberal MSM doesn’t take much note of. Slowly but surely he’s meeting people, letting them get to know him, feel comfortable with him. And most wisely, with our Dear Leader imploding right now, he’s stayed out of the way.
Everything McCain did wrong Romney is doing right.
All he has to be is “Not Obama” to win this.
An overripe turnip could win this one.
Starting my sentences with “So” is a bad habit that I’ve been trying to break. But when I start writing stream-of-consciousness, I stop paying attention to my sentence structure. So I will try harder to work on that going forward!
Romney was not my first choice, but he won the primary, and like many: I WANT OBAMA GONE! This idea that Romney and Obama are “the same” is utter stupidity!
As you rightly noted: “Everything McCain did wrong Romney is doing right.” This guy could use some positive reinforcement rather than the non-stop bi*ching by some!
I can tell you, I think - he's raising money, lots of it. He and the RNC combined raised $17 million more than Brak and the DNC in May, and that doesn't just happen.
Exactly!
As Rush says, it's time for us to begin living in “Realville”!
It really makes me sick to watch those on our side continually attacking Romney...even when he's taking the conservative road. These people on our side that are continually attacking Romney are becoming part of the problem on our side. In my estimation, they are helping Obama win a potential 2nd term.
Time for us all to return to “Realiville”!
I think mostly allowing Øbozo to make an ass of himself. He was right there with a response to Øbozo’s “The economy is doing fine” gaff.
The last four paragraphs of your vanity start with, So.
Creepy!
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
So?
Seriously, the institutionalization of all things Obama is going to take some undoing, if God allows.
Since Republicans are pudding and proven useless, Romney must be working with Democrats fastidiously to unseat him.
He came across as a guy with a lot of common sense. If he can sell that image to the American people, it will be a landslide in November.
“This guy could use some positive reinforcement rather than the non-stop bi*ching by some!”
Think back to your high school days (assuming you attended). There was always a silent group of groupies that hated (feared) the successful kids, and would dress up in school colors, shout at the top of their lungs at athletic events, and win the “school spirit” award. Largely socially unwanted, and inept, they sought to be cool by booing the “enemy” (opponents’ teams), and praising the home team, and lavishing praise on even the weak performances of “their” team, because they had/have nothing else.
These are the same inept, socially unacceptable people you see posting their boo hoo comments here. I still don’t “like” Romney, and don’t know who I will vote for yet. I don’t expect to until election day (I usually early vote, so then). When all possibilities are tallied up, I’ll say a prayer, make a decision based on all the information I have at that point, and vote my conscience. I’m pretty sure how I will vote now, but one doesn’t count their chickens...
In any event, these silly groupies have little life outside of FR, and thus make sure they always keep their fingers in the wind to make sure they wear the team colors and shout their loudest. They haven’t figured out that the pony they picked is no longer in the race, so all they have left is to tear down anyone left in it. The sad thing is what these people lacked in respect and acceptance in their youth, keeps them from rational, mature discourse in their adulthood.
To clarify the “silent group of groupies” referred to their silence in situations where they were able to piggyback on the popular group,, not silent all the time. They’re generally mousy and timid unless they have coattails to ride on. Then they roar like the lions they’re certainly NOT.
He has no intentions of winning, and he probably still will.
Please don't be delusional like the 0zombies were. Myth aint gonna heal our land.
Myth is gonna flush us like a 21st century H. Hoover, and clear the path for her highness.
With Obama’s administration and campaign publicly struggling, Romney is well-advised to keep a low profile and let Obama continue to take hits.
He is Freeping.
Dream on.
Is this a game and can I play?
