Just back from the doctors office, got the wrapper off of my left eye. When everything settles down I'm gonna have close to 20/20 in both eyes!
It's a different world and it sure is pretty!

Cataract surgery?
Yep, it’s almost a miracle. The cataracts sneak in so you don’t know how much you’re missing.
Congratulations! Your remarks remind me of my husband who got his first pair of glasses in college from the student health service. He said he couldn’t stop looking a cars because they looked so sharp — there was no fuzzy line around them.

Glad to hear your second surgery went well. You’ll be able to see Obama and Holder go down in flames better with your new and improved acuity. Hope you’re soon back out taking pictures, and sharing them with us all. Take care.
Had it done a couple of months ago.
For the most part its like having 10 year old’s eyes again. Not perfect, but a hellofalot better than before. No more glasses, except for occassional “readers” for laptop.
My Doc says it’ll take 4 or 5 months for self adjusting to the lens.
You have laser or knife?
Take special care for a few weeks!

Ever since I hit my 50s, if a woman in my life ever asked me if she had a new wrinkle, I could always dodge the question by saying: “I don’t know. I don’t have my glasses on.”
If I ever got eye surgery, I’d lose that option.
Kind of reminds me of Larry David’s line about not knowing what ladies’ quims looks like because he’d never seen one when he’s wearing his glasses.
Just got the basics, I’ll need reading glasses for fine print.

Congrats! I went through new lens three summers ago. Got rid of cataracts and narrow angle glaucoma. Vision is 20/15. Good sunglasses are an absolute must.
