Why are the BATFags doing wrong address DRUG RAIDS??? They need to be disbanded YESTERDAY, every agent, supervisor and (acting) “director” incarcerated or executed, and all their buildings and homes torn down and the ground sown with salt.

How many “mistakes” like this are you willing to allow them??? I think we’d all do well to follow Indiana’s law which enshrines the RIGHT granted by our Creator into law, regarding the use of deadly force on LEOs illegally entering our homes or otherwise acting unlawfully. Do you have a problem with THAT???

Its sad that a substantial number of police are so stupid and illiterate that they can’t find the address on their warrant.

Furthermore, its sad that that so many ‘roid enhanced cops can’t serve their warrants as if the suspect were innocent - which they are until convicted in a court of law.

And in Indiana and Texas the cops had better be right when they serve a warrant because if they bust into a home without a warrant the homeowners have the right to kill them just the same as they have the right to kill any other armed intruder in the commission of a crime.

As I have said before ... if someone is breaking into your house ... order a pizza. The pizza delivery guy will help you. If you say, I will get my gun and shoot the intruder, remember; in most states gun ownership is restricted. Besides, most Americans have been brainwashed to the point that they will not have a gun in the house. Why ... because the don’t believe in them (often quoted on TV police dramas).

A few years back, when my elderly neighbor thought there was somebody in the house, she didn't call the police. She called me. I was there in under 30 seconds (with my .45). Turned out she left a window open and the wind was causing the blinds to tap against the frame.

What people here really object to is the cavalier attitude of many cops: "Oh, an innocent citizen got shot by mistake? It's just a simple mistake. Move along." The attitude that if you're not part of the cop-clique, then your life, property, and peace of mind don't seem to matter. The attitude that the cop's safety is much more important than the people he's sworn to protect, and "getting home without injury at the end of shift" is the Prime Directive.

Note the phrase "cavalier attitude". It indicates "showing haughty disregard of others; offhand". The cavaliers were originally the armed, mounted soldiers of the King. Funny how their behavior came to be considered in a pejorative manner.

He came out the Columbian dope dealer's front garage door carrying a weed whacker (tubular handle undoubtedly full of something). He was happy. So, what was it you said about people going to the wrong address?

The difference being that the gang enforcer could have legitimately been shot by the homeowner for breaking into his house. Until we have serious PERSONAL penalties for cops that make this type of screwup (minimum one month UNPAID suspension for busting into the wrong house, with termination if an innocent party is injured or dog gets shot, and charged with negligent homicide if innocent gets killed), the screwups will continue.

It's really never a good idea to shoot a member of traditional organized crime.

Although you might think the law is on your side, they don't care!

The issue was getting the wrong address ~ and the guy got the wrong address.

Doesn't matter if he was a criminal or not ~ so, don't be putting words in my mouth. I do know some of these guys, and like I said in another post, THEY DON'T CARE about the law.

When they get the wrong address the only correct posture is to GIT OUT THE WAY.

One of the neat things you can do is remove the address number from your home. That always makes it harder for door to door salesfolks and missionaries to find you.

It does slow down the cops a bit.

People do it all the time.

Doesn’t matter. Given the potential for violence and property destruction, it is still incumbent on the cops to make sure they hit right house.
The leader of any team that hits the wrong house should, at a minimum, be fired, pretty much on the spot. And he should be personally responsible for any damage done, and for any harm caused.

I can see you are generally uninformed regarding the reasons people get the wrong address ~ and I, on the other hand, still retain my status as one of the world's foremost experts on exactly that problem.

There are bigger fish to fry today so we'll get back to this one some other time. Believe me most such errors are honest mistakes.

DOESN’T MATTER if they are ‘honest’ mistakes. People can get KILLED, property DESTROYED, and pets KILLED by these ‘honest mistakes.’ When cops are making a “dynamic entry” into somebody’s home, there is no room for an ‘honest mistake.’

The risks to cops should be AT LEAST as large, if not FAR larger, as they are to the victims of these ‘honest mistakes.’

And funny how you won’t address part about serving the warrant like the people receiving are innocent.

hmm, this one started with a cop stepping through an OPEN DOOR.

I know you want to discuss DEA busting down your door, shooting your cat with her kittens, and pointing guns at your baby girl ~ but that didn't happen in this story.

When you cry wolf ~....... there's an old story about that one.
