Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

is today the day? will we finally know? i’m afraid to get my hopes up.
Personally, i’m dying to know, hope we find out today and hope it’s an utter repudiation. Professionally, i’m dreading it, because i have about 15 cases pending in various courts of appeal, being held in abeyance pending this decision, and they are going to cascade one way or the other once this comes down and create a massive amount of work for me.
I figure it’s gotta be the grand finale, so Wednesday or Thursday.
I love it when Rick Santelli and Dennis Miller and Mark Steyn durance.

i tend to think so too, but we will know within an hour and a half or so i guess. at least it’s not the kind of thing that ties up the entire day.

Saturday morning, while on call, I was reading a legal thriller. It was just reaching the climatic ending.
A little 90yr old lady had fallen, ended up going to the ER. As we rode along she entertained me with all the places she had traveled...Germany, Hawaii...she mentioned her former DIL moved there after the divorce and flew her over for a visit. She said her name was Pam, then she mentioned that she was famous and I might have heard of her. She said she was an author. I then asked her if, by chance, she was talking about Perri O’Shaughnessy. (a pseudonym for two sisters who write books together) She said yes, she did. I told her I was reading one of her books when the tones came over. She told me when she got home, she would call her and have her send me an autographed copy of one of her books. She’s 90, so I won’t hold my breath, but that was cool.
I did know this author had ties to my hometown, but did not know what they were. She apparently lived here for one year while still married to the woman’s son.
I dunno who it is - but serving a long sentence together is always an awesome way to get to know each other...

the work will be the same no matter which way it goes, the fact of a decision is what will precipitate the work. basically i have all of it just sitting there floating. i have several major substantive things due in the meantime, but there will be an inundation on top of it with the ACA cases.
