El Hierro getting worse by the day

“The island has now been elevated by 9 cm due to the magma pressure. Last night there was one quake of 4.4 on the Richter scale, at a depth of 18km, which was also felt on the neighbouring island of La Palma.”

Is that the island that is hyped about swamping the entire eastern seaboard of the US once half of it breaks off and slides into the ocean?

If that thing blows, CO2 limits by humans will be utterly irrelevant for years. So will any reports of global warming.

LOL, that’s what I’ve been saying! There is about 10K souls on board. And they are living on top of what is basically a 10,000’ mountain with an active volcano at the base and over a mile deep of water on all sides.

The energy expended already surpasses last year’s ramp up and minor event...

This needs to be monitored. Plus the activity is concentrated in an area that still has some land to give to the sea...lol
