Yes, I got it but have been very busy working on retirement planning so I don’t get much time to respond to any emails.

Starwise ... you indicate by your post - that you have comments and questions and yet - when I ask you if you want to discuss it in the Religion Forum - you indicate no.
SO ... what type of comments and questions are you talking about - in which you don’t want the other person to engage you - but only for you to talk to yourself - alone?
In other words, if you’ve got comments and questions and want responses to them (which seems to be what you’re saying) - then by all means - let’s get that going in the Religion Forum.
But ... on the other hand ... if “you” DO NOT WANT TO DISCUSS IT ... then don’t be blaming “me” for “you” not wanting to discuss it.

Abortion is a key issue and I was first involved (more politically than I was before) in it - when Francis Schaeffer and C. Everett Koop (Surgeon General under President Reagan) went on their seminars in the US and around the world.
I don’t know if you went to one of those, but I did - in Portland, Oregon. I told my boss I was taking off work for a few days for that seminar, and he said okay. Maybe it was because he was Catholic and I think I told him what it was about. He did want to know why I was absolutely insisting on going to it.
It was about abortion, infanticide and euthanasia. If I remember correctly, I think it was in 1979.
Can you just make me a list and email it to me? I don’t want to have to read this thread from the start to finish ever again, under any circumstances. Once is too many.
I’ve been angry on this thread today, I’ve been perplexed by things posted today and yesterday, and I’ve also felt really good too; I found me a gal friend. (Don’t breathe a word to my beautiful wife who might come snooping around here asking questions. You haven’t seen me.)

In regards to your post....You have made quite a few assumptions about another person....Is that Christlike?
Quix’s email was directed to one person..Jim as I understand it no one else, so from my point of view that is none of my buisness...I am just telling you from my encounters with Quix he has been a compassionate man who loves the LORD, he never claimed to be perfect and if any man does he is nothing but a liar...
What problems Quix has with other’s is between him and that other person to work out or not....
You sound like you have passed some serious judgements agaisnt Quix, and if you do believe in the words of our LORD Jesus Christ, then you know the accusations you make agaisnt another will be judged agaisnt you....

Google search can turn up a lot about what happened to WideAwakes, it’s been posted on numerous sites. It seems that a group of unhappy people connived and hacked into Mad Ivan’s site in the middle of one night. They supposedly locked him out, gave out private info on other members and allowed banned members back in, etc. He learned of it the next morning. That’s pretty much the ‘established’ story now.
It wasn’t long before he shut it down and a number of other sites spun off of it. Some of them might have been; The GOP Briefing Room, GOPachy, TheFort2.com

I’ll explain why I know much of this; I’ve written many times before on the forum that I lost much hearing in my early 30’s, it made a big change in my life causing me to avoid groups and gatherings of people because I couldn’t ‘understand’ what was said. People can’t ‘see’ hearing loss and wonder why you don’t answer or ‘ignore’ them. It was daunting...for sure.
About 12 years ago my son gave me a laptop computer and it opened up my world and I’m on my third computer now! I soon discovered Free Republic from the Drudge site and have been here since. Because I spend so much time on the computer I browse the web every day, reading, reading, reading........and I learn a ‘lot’, - after I’ve seen it verified on numerous sites. Trust but Verify should sometimes be Distrust and Verify, lol.
And how many believers are there? And just because they believe in something from the 1860s does that make it the right interpretation of the Bible.
Most mainline Protestant groups do not believe in the Rapture (which is yet another name for this belief). This seems to be mostly a belief among primarily non-denominational groups.
Some Axioms of life:
