I have already explained at length, on this thread and elsewhere, why I am campaigning and voting for Romney, and why I believe that this is not a capitulation to the liberal agenda. In short, I expect a Pres. Romney's policies and appointments would be substantially more conservative than those of a second-term Pres. Obama.
It's why I'm voting for a plurality by voting for third party.
I have no idea what you're talking about with this "voting for a plurality" stuff. I don't think it makes any sense, yet you seem quite fixated with the idea. Nobody else seems to be picking up on it. You might want to reconsider the whole concept.
You are already....
....from accusing me of being an paid Obama supporter to not being a Conservative... ...and all the bullying from you and the other RomneyBots just goes to prove how rotten Willard is that his peons would act so uncivil...
Right on the money, Sister FReeper. A vote "against" Obama via Romney is a vote FOR installing that kind of rottenness at the top of the U.S.A. and at the top of the GOP.
The better choice is to vote FOR a plurality by voting third party -- it's the only way a conservative's presidential vote can help conservatives down-ticket, by counting toward weakening the victory of whichever bastard wins.
Pray for a plurality, and vote for a plurality.
The day of The Lord Jesus Christ is at hand.
Thanks Laz.
“I always assumed Quix was a woman. In retrospect it must have been the irrational weakness of mind and the highly religeous emotionalism one sometimes finds in elderly women.”
She’s a man babeee....yeah
Seriously though, I had to lurk over there for awhile out of curiosity. In a Mountain of Irony, they are holding out the open hands for LDS members (which is fine), yet they are extolling the virtues of their new OPUS HERO....Quix.
Quix had to be one of the most vehemently vile religious bigots I’ve ever seen on FR. One of his favorite targets: Mormons and Catholics.
It was fun...until it got highjacked by an egomanic who is in love with his own agenda hiding behind the label of religion.
Elsie, care to cross swords?
Did anyone catch that Mark LEvin mentioned FreeRepublic on his radio show the other day?
He was talking about a gem of an article someone found and posted here on FR that was written in the year 2007 that exposed some hypocracy or another of the democraps.
I know Mark is a Freeper now! (at least a lurker)
Oh, though I’ve never seen Quix state so on here..
Over there, he is admitting that his is a 911 Truther.
That ties in with all of the conspiracy, UFO and other ramblings that we witnessed. I find 911 Truther’s particularly disgusting and weak-minded.
Nah, not swords - here's my image of Elsie!
A vote for plurality is half a vote for Obama, Holder, Clinton and three more liberal Supreme Court justices.
How did that plurality thing work out with Bill Clinton? It worked great, didn’t it? (/extreme sarcasm)
Voting third party is just plain ineffective in every way.
Remember Ross Perot and Ralph Nader. Those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Or, to paraphrase the current crop of Direct TV ads:
Don’t end up with seven liberal Supreme Court justices. Hold your nose and vote for the Republican.
I invited star traveler to take it to the Religion Forum. He's the one hogging bandwidth here. He refused.
I have a feeling he will be thoroughly challenged.
******************************
But we all love you.
So simple in its truth ... and so emotionally complicated for fearful people to face.
And you can end up with a Supreme Court that looks like the Massachusetts' Supreme Judicial Court, all liberal! MA had GOP governors from 1991 to 2006, including of course Mitt Romney (2002-2006).
