Actually, what we’re saying is that the authority is not in you, me or others - but that the authority is in the Word of God. So, that’s why you take it from there, you see.
For someone to “point to the authority of the Bible” and say that this is where you find God’s Word - that’s not making oneself the authority - as you seem to be mistaking here.

OTOH, the posts by the TBL RY seem to be setups to me. They are only one or two sentences each; they are mocking and they hit the buzz words that would lead to a legit banning.

You’re right, God could have made a “video” and splashed it across the sky - if He had wanted to - but, of course, He didn’t.
What He did - instead - is gave his authoritative word - through the “Word of God” (i.e., the written word, the Holy Scriptures) which He says He holds above His name.
And then He also gave His Son, as the “living Word” to speak on His behalf. So, that’s where everyone is to get their “authority” from on this earth - while we are still living here ... :-)

Yes, he definitely has a very open mind... I have never had any problems with him as some of the others say they have.
He was always kind and respectful to me. BUT, I avoid the RF because of the catfights, so I never saw that side of him.

No such thing was done. I made no comment to anyone’s heart or to a person. You might “want” that to be the case, but you won’t find it there. You can find no quote where I directed it at a person, or one’s heart or made it personal. It was totally directed at the institution, the organization and the theological doctrines and teachings.
I thought you were saying that we conservatives should abandon the GOP because it is irredeemably corrupt and conservatives have no chance of advancing conservatism through it.

A psychologist writing a report about someone involved in a private counseling session would be bound by legal concerns and patient confidentiality, so I say that to start off with, to form that context.
SO ... for a psychologist to talk about a person, who is a public figure or has spoken in public - and I’ve seen it done in news reports before - where a psychologist is asked to make some kind of judgement based on public knowledge - it is legitimate and has been done before.
And for someone to apply their own knowledge, from their training, that wouldn’t be unusual and it wouldn’t come under patient confidentiality either - as it’s regarding public knowledge and public information - and it’s open for discussion.
I personally won’t get into the “psychology” aspects of it, basically because I don’t have the training like Quix does. But, he does - and so - it’s his right to comment if he wants to and apply that training. And if another psychologists disagrees with his assessment - that would be the right of that other psychologist to do so - too.
Careful syncro, this could be the evil imposter sullying RY’s good name. I’d thing a ‘real conservative’ would stand on his hind legs and refute the evil lies that the imposter Rogue Yam posted on this thread earlier.
