I’m glad you didn’t get zotted too.
My four cats, my Rocket, Shadow, Lucas Prince of Darkness, and Miss Hissy Slashy were really angry with Mr. Mott’s for brains as well.
Bad Karma, Mr. James Mott!
We’re calling the SPCC (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Cats) on you as well! Or perhaps their little-known subsidiary, the SPCR (Cruelty to Rocket - the spoiled little stinker).
Yay!!!! I just cant wait to get her back!
Also, she lost almost 2 pounds. One night, after feeding them their mushy food, I noticed Mimi kept looking at Mary while she was eating.
Mary is a nibbler. She’ll eat some, so clean herself, then later go back for more. Once Mary walked away from her plate Mimi would go and eat all of Marys mushy food, then go back to her own!
I started feeding Mary on the counter (Mimi does not go on the counters nor the table). So no more extra food for my fatsy Mimi!
The sleeping one in this picture is also named Anna Belle, in her regular pose. The wide awake one is Rachel, a stray we adopted and brought us Anna Belle plus three other kittens who were put up for adoption.
I think you are right about visiting her being hard on both of you. When I adopted Mina (from the kill shelter) she still had a respiratory infection and needed to be spayed and chipped so I decided to leave her there for the few days between adopting her and her surgery (and her nearly cross country trip from California to the Midwest). I still remember the sad look on her face, like she was asking me "are you leaving me too?" but it was better in the long run than having her try to get used to a new house and 'staff' (us) and then having to go back a couple of days later for an overnight.
Now, she is just such a love and totally runs the house and we have only had her about 3 months.
It made his day too...and mine......and Annabelles :)
Beautiful kitties! Nice of you to save them....:)
My pleasure, friend.
How cute!!! I would LOVE to have a kitten!
What wonderful news. I am so glad to hear this. Thank you God.

Well, Mimi might also want you to take a nice walk, go out to dinner with someone or have a spot of tea or wine!
Just sayin’
Hilarious, skeama.
First round on me!
(And a belated prayer of thanks.)
Yay!!!!
Mimi’s gonna be okay!
;D
Wicked funny, AM!
I’m so glad MiMi made it through the surgery. The week will be up before you know it, and he will be home.
So happy she is going to be okay. I lost my 3 yr old poodle two months ago and I still cry when I think of him. There wasn’t anything they could do for him. Enjoy having your best friend still with your.
Awesome news! Praise God!!! I was wondering how things were going as I went through my work day. I’m so happy that “Me-Me” has a great prognosis. Hugs to you all!
I would LOVE to have a kitten!
Really! I have one, but you need to come to Texas to pick it up!
