OK, saw pics and all, but I don’t know. I will ask her later, still too early to text her. A friend of hers has a condo time share and the grounds look lovely. Will FReepmail you about something.

According to news reports, Weiner is a stay-at-home dad.

Next question—is the baby Jewish, muslim, or “nuttin’ “?

Outsourcing through visa has been going on for years - remember the ho-bag dubious freeper who used to come on this thread who worked for one of the big airplane manufacturers who lobbied Washington for more visas for engineers?

Cool, I am also J. My husband was working on a project in Hawaii last summer and routinely got calls and texts at 3am since his co-workers couldn’t seem to realize it was 3am in Hawaii when they were at work! He finally just gave up and would work half way through the night/morning. He has never required much sleep anyway.

Back home tomorrow, where everyone is normal and speaks English.

Listening to teens in the pool the other day speaking french? It all sounds so lyrical. It’s only knowing the content that makes it trite and banal.

Congrats on your FIL’s turn-around. Now would be a good time to get his affairs in order, such as wills, trusts, long term care options, etc. Not that my husband and I have dones that for ourselves, but that is what we are going through with my mom. It’s a pain.

We had a storm last evening that brought 2 inches of rain, and there may be more later today-yippee! In one of the beds in the side yard, there are 8 little pink rain lily plants getting ready to bloom-I will cut the flowers and some decorative native grass for a bouquet for the kitchen island...

Without his umbilical teleprompter
Obama puts his foot in his mouth-
Such as his latest inimical words
That send his credibility south

He’s scolding the business owners-
Even the ones who are very small
Didn’t open that shop themselves-
Government did it, after all

It happened because of public works
And now you must repay them in tax-
What the hell has he been smoking
And where is he getting his “facts”?

Titus was asleep on the windowsill, but the minute the Midget girl jumped up onto the top of the computer cabinet, he hopped onto my lap, started purring and is staring at her as if to say, one bad look in my direction and I’ll kick your ass. She knows his Freightliner persian form and legs are too short to jump up there, so she is just washing her face and pointedly ignoring him.

Thank you! Ooooh-I just don’t know how I’d ever have put tile on a customer’s wall without all the new highways-especially since I use farm roads to get to them-highways are miles away (thank God). Most of the businesses here don’t want infrastructure/highways, etc-the more rustic it is, the more tourists come and spend money (in better times, that is)...

I will be depressed with you, if it is not Rubio-while he may not be the most experienced, he is smart, knows what hard work is and he isn’t afraid to go on the attack, if needed. The other choices might as well be carrying a calculator and cell phone around-boring. And it is not just because he is hispanic, although it does give him an edge on those issues, too.

I was discussing the VP thing with a neighbor over the weekend-we were both hiking the same trail Saturday morning. She asked what I thought of Daniels, and I told her he was probably as effective as Ambien-she gave me a say-what look, so I said boring, and she said oh, you are right. I convinced her that Rubio was a much better choice.

NO.

we’d all love to see Rubio give more speeches, but as a surrogate.

Leaving the Senate to be Veep would hurt the Country longterm, because he will be President someday.

There perhaps won’t be much of a country left to preside over if he isn’t on the ticket to boost romneys chances. The other potential candidates are woefully bland and nondescript.

well i know they’d have a conniption over the natural born citizen crap, but they are a fringe minority are they not? the populace at large is not going to fixate on that crap. i know hobbes thinks we have a stone cold lock on this election, and that it isn’t necessary to have a draw such as rubio, but i am not convinced. i think we are tempting fate by selecting these vanilla whitebread boring white dudes [pawlenty, portman, thune, and Mitch Daniels from MIDGETVILLE]. MAYBE paul ryan could be ok, but the rest of that slate of nobodies, i just don’t think is going to elicit enough excitement. and no jindal won’t do it either though he’s more chocolate than vanilla, and more cajun gumbo than whitebread.
