I use the Firefox browser, and usually leave about six favorite tabs open all the time. I close Firefox, but not my tabs, when I shut my computer down at night.
When I open my browser, all of my favorite tabs are there. One of them is Photobucket. It's always set to my favorite page of images.
Tonight when I clicked on my Photobucket tab, instead of seeing my pics collection, I got their sign-in page. Ok, just press 'sign-in', and I should go to my account.
No bueno.
Photobucket keeps telling me that I'm using the wrong username or password, even though their sign-in block already has them in there. I've never changed my password or username, but I can't get in.
I even ran a search on my username, and only came up with a page of very old photos that I'd dumped there long ago.
I also use Ghostery, which shuts off tracking software. I thought it might be one of those causing the problem, so I turned a bunch of them back on. Still no bueno.
Any suggestions? Anyone else having difficulties there tonight?

Well, I do have a ton of anti-Zero stuff, but only one image that might not pass the 'gay' test. Funny. I've never even posted that image anywhere, and it's been sitting in my collection for over a year.

This is kind of old, but possibly related.
Maybe you can get them to reset your password.
Today (July 12th, 2011), at 5am MDT (UTC -6 hours), some users will notice some difficulties logging in to their Photobucket account. This is a scheduled maintenance, and everything should be back to normal within a few hours.

You have to able to log in to do that, and that's the thing that I can't do. It won't let me log in with my username, or my email addy.
They have a help page, where you can shoot them a request to open or retrieve your account. I might have to try that, if nothing else works. I've got a ton of pictures saved there, and I'd sure hate to lose them.

Like I said, this has happened before and all my pics were lost. I called Photobucket and they said someone complained that a graphic was violating their standards so they shut it down. All it takes is one complaint.... Unless you purchase their delux package.

I can get to my main page, but time out when clicking on my albums. Didn’t know I had a problem til I read your post. Prolly be OK tomorrow.
If I click on your link, and then click on “Album”, I go to my own album.
Thanks. That lets me know that something is definitely up with my account. That link should take you straight to my pic collection.
I have gotten the same error for a long time. I don’t remember the last time I logged into PB because of that error. I contacted them and still nothing.
I'm beginning to think this is selective. My account may have gotten the zot because they got a complaint about one or more of my images.
I'm still going to email them and see if I can get some help. It might just be a technical glitch. Hope so. I've got a ton of images stored there.

Now, the address of that image is in my Photobucket account. The image still shows up on the thread where I posted it yesterday, and I snagged the address embedded in it to post it to this thread.
That's got to mean the account's still there, otherwise the image would have de-linked from FR by now.
Well now, this is different: If I search for “windflier” in PB, I see 24 Texas-related thumbnails, but if I click on any one of them, I get an “image not found” error message, but with the same 24 thumbnails displayed beneath, including the “not found” one.
...but the 0bama pissing one is not among them.
I can get in but something is screwy, can’t see all the images.
