Perhaps I didn't clearly communicate what I meant when I said:
“My advice is to be patient, and be prepared to buy a gift card that day...”

The overwhelming public counter-protest support has the potential of becoming a nightmarish time for local Chick-fil-A’s.

Personally, I plan on going for breakfast on my way into work, going early, and even then, will understand if they are sold out of food when I arrive.
I will cheerfully buy a gift card, a coupon, or just make a cash donation/tip to help pay for employee overtime, if that will get me in and out of the expected doubled drive-thru lines.

I wouldn't want my show of support/political protest to become a burden to my local store.

Something unplanned came up and we can't go today, so we drove to Houma last night and got supper. The first thing I did was ask the guy at the counter if they had extra people coming in today to help.

He said that he knew what it is that I was talking about but that they could handle it with a normal crew.

BTW, my wife got the classic deluxe and I got the spicy deluxe. We shared a large waffle fries. DELICIOUS!!!

We also got chicken salad for our long drive today. They seperated everything so it wouldn't get soggy overnight. Woo Hoo!

They just got themselves a brand new lifetime customer.

Glad to hear it!

I mostly beat the breakfast crowd rush at 7:45am this morning, and was able to make a purchase.

My coworkers could not get through the traffic for lunch, and my daughter was unable to access CFA for dinner both before and after church tonight, due to time constraints.
