I also read how many people in Texas have been receiving phone calls, supposedly from Cruz’z campaign, saying “Dont forget to vote for Cruz on August 1st” but voting is for today. So yeah doesn’t it show everything you need to know about Dewhurst when he resorts to tactics used by the left..calling Dewhurst a RINO is an insult to RINOS, he sounds like a leftist using leftist tactics.

This is a republican run-off election. A RINO republican, Dewhurst, is claiming Sarah Palin is supporting him after Palin has already endorsed his opponent — Cruz. It is a stupid tactic attempting to get TEA party people who may not be paying attention (yeah, not happening) to be fooled by this bit of subterfuge.
It just goes to show that the RINOs know who the people really want to support. They will lie and pretend anything to hang onto power. Oh, and they would not dream of doing this to a democrat. They will only pull this despicable a trick on conservatives. So we should be on the look out for the RINOs to pull this elsewhere especially if Dewhurst somehow manages a win.
Wasn’t going to and didn’t vote for Dewhurst but I used to have a modicum of respect for the man. Sad to see his ‘Gollum-like’ tactics to covet going after the US Senate seat by dirty, slimey ways. Bye bye Dewey—should have saved your wasted millions instead.

I hear that the polls in much of the state close at 7:00 pm central time, but the polls in El Paso close at 7:00 mountain time. So we may not know anything until around 9:00 eastern time. Is this the case or have I gotten the wrong information?
