This is such a crock! The owner, Mr. Cathy, has said he believes in traditional one man, one woman marriage. he uses the profits he earns from his business to support organizations that promote his beliefs. His corporation, Chick-fil-A, is neither for nor against same sex marriage. The premise of this poll is bogus.

For one thing. It IS NOT CHICK-FIL-A.
It is the PERSONAL opinion of the man that started it.

314 to 102 Yes

(I wish CFA would publish their numbers for yesterday. The pictures were powerful, but I think the totals would truly stun the left- esp with 0bama begging for money like he is)

The poll promotes a lie.

I haven’t noticed that Chick-Fil-A has a stance opposing anything except bad service and bad food. Mr. Cathy may may oppose gay “marriage” (and for that I applaud him!) but CFA seems to be all about business.

I agree, but the ‘giblets’ (LBGT) are suing right now to put Chik-Fil-A out of business. They don’t care if it was the owner’s personal opinion.

The big lie. Shame we have to keep reminding people this had NOTHING to do with CFA whatsoever. This was one man expressing his own opinion. Period.

The CEO said he's in favor of traditional marriage. This is widely reported as his "voicing opposition to gay marriage." The company, as far as I've heard, doesn't have a "stance" opposing gay marriage any more than it has a "stance" opposing penguins as shark bait.

Normally I would argue that it was a frivolous lawsuit because they couldn’t prove anything like what they’re asserting. But, since it was brought in Illinois, it probably has a chance. Chicago values and all that.

EXACTAMUNDO!!

He NEVER said he OPPOSES anything.

He simply said he SUPPORTS traditional marriage.

This kind of confusion has been on the rise since skoolz stopped teaching reading comprehension and critical thinking.

... Chik-Fil-A stance on gay marriage ...

This is why I participated in yesterdays BUYCOTT at Chik-Fil-A (CFA). The inability of the general media, the PC crowd and many politicos to separate ownership from company actions is demonstrated by this poll. CFA has no policy on gay marriage and it is the after-tax profits from risk and ownership that is used by the owner(s) for their desired use. No one has shown any evidence of CFA intention or policy that harmed any non-traditional lifestyle employees or customers.

How about a poll on Progressive Insurance hating marriage? Peter B. Lewis is the founder/principal owner and uses his profits to support LGBT causes as well as Move-On!

I don't do stupid polls. They are simply clever tools to sway weak minds.
When they include "stupid question" as one of the answers, I might reconsider.

In this particular case, my appropriate answer would be...

...it doesn't matter what I think or you think. It's a Constitutional Violation, fools!

I sincerely hope there's a countersuit against this little wet end who filed suit. Since no one has any way of knowing what his sexual orientation or marital status is and since there is no company policy directing the franchisee to refuse service to anyone based on the customer's actual or perceived sexual orientation or marriage status, then there is no way that there is any possible discrimination going on. The CEO of Chick-fil-A is exercising his First Amendment rights in stating his beliefs but he is also accommodating the urge of everyone who has the money to pay to eat his chicken.

If someone, such as the moron who filed suit, doesn't want to eat Chick-fil-A because he doesn't like the beliefs of the CEO, then the only thing that is preventing him from chowing down on chicken is his decision not to do so because of a value judgement he made against the restaurant based on a value judgement he has made against the CEO. His not setting foot in Chick-fil-A is not because he is being excluded by the restaurant but because he is voluntarily excluding himself based on his own values.

The law doesn't provide any relief for anyone who feels he is being discriminated against, only for those who, under the law, are actually being discriminated against. In his case, the only one exercising any discrimination that determines whether or not he avails himself of the product on sale is he himself.

0bama was OPPOSED to gay marriage before he was FOR it:

During the 2008 presidential debate hosted by Pastor Rick Warren, Obama explained: ‘I believe that marriage is the union between a man and a woman. Now, for me as a Christian – for me – for me as a Christian, it is also a sacred union. God’s in the mix. … I am not somebody who promotes same-sex marriage.’

Was he lying then? Or is he lying now? Does he even know the difference!!
