Depending on how much lettuce is put on the cheeseburger, and how the potatoes are "prepared", they may be the same meal.

Mashed potatoes with a pat of butter, vs. the same amount of potatoes as fries, properly cooked with oil at correct temp. Same salt on both.

I stopped watching the Food Network after they promoted M. Obama several times on their channel during the last election. That I know of, they didn't have any Republicans on their network, but they also had the Carters on. A food channel is not the place to be pushing for a political party, most especially the democrat party. They can cause my stomach to turn, with a loss appetite.
