My favorite song is Kenny Chesney’s “There Goes My Life.” It is one of the most powerful pro life songs (under the radar).
It is my story too. My girlfriend (at the time) and I chose life and today she is a 20 year beautiful sophomore in college. Instead of an abortion statistic. We are happily married (20 years).

One of my favorite conservative messages from a popular song is from Jonathan Edwards’ song “Sunshine.” The song has a line that I would love to say to every Kennedy and Clinton involved in politics:

How is a song about gambling your eternal soul on a contest to see who can play a musical instrument better “conservative”?
Seems rather foolhardy. ;-)

This song, about a long-distance truck driver, addresses several conservative themes. The protagonist shows contempt for excessive government regulation, barreling through speed zones and dodging Interstate Commerce Commission checkpoints. He is monogamous and loyal to his girl friend, knowing that although he could have a lot of women if he wanted to, he could "never make believe it's all right." He is also environmentally incorrect--as he speeds down the road, the smoke from his stack is blowing "black as coal."
