I don’t think we can compare a Presidential Campaign to an off voting year. Huge difference. I think we just need to go like we are going to lose and get everyone out there to vote. That is the way to go.

They’re not trying to dishearten conservatives (Romney is our candidate. How much worse can we feel?) They’re trying to hearten the lib base enough to think it’s worth getting off their butts to vote.

Because of the Conservative distaste for Romney, this tactic is especially useful this election cycle. They are looking to depress Conservative turnout, by making conservatives give up on Romney.
And right now, I see it working, hell, look at those a*holes here on FR doing their bidding!
Hold steady for the next few weeks folks, and I think we'll see a more accurate picture of whats goin on.

Absolutely!! Well said.... And, like Palin says-—”America, you can have freedom or free stuff!”

Some of us have been patiently explaining the polls to the Nervous Nellies here for several weeks.
I have yet to see a straight poll with The Disaster in the lead.

IMHO you are one of the “weak sisters” that Rush was discussing. You’re falling for (if not actually welcoming) the mainstream media/corrupt pollsters’ spin and then actively promoting it here.

Some of us around these parts can pick these disinformation devices apart like pros. You are doing what you do best - teaching. Must make you feel good when the students get it.

Actually, some of “those a*holes here on FR” actually are THEM.

of course, all those elections Republicans have been winning Up and Down the line all across the nation are just a fantasy and never really happened.

And you have no idea what you are talking about!
Obama isn't getting the Independent vote and will lose every GOP State he won last year.

Ras I think is reliable and has gotten the convention bump for Obama, and I think he will show it fade (fast) in the next few days. For example, his "strongly disapprove/strongly approve," which is one of his little tweaks, was only at -9 when in the past it has hovered between -15 and -26. So will this stay at -9? Strongly doubt it.
That said, I think even Ras is not fully "getting" the impact of the turnout/voter ID shift from 2008 to now. For details, see WI and Scott Walker's recall :)

Nice to see you agree with the MSM, and the Marxist...your not needed if you believe all the rigged polls and pass on your idiocy...just another lib trying to dishearten conservatives....check out how the polls were during Carter/ Reagan....same stuff and Carter lost big time....
