It's bitter irony that Chris Stevens was one of the cheerleaders for "Arab Spring" and deposing Ghadafi. He apparently yearned for and worked toward "democracy" in Libya.
Well, he got his "democracy". He turned out to be the sheep in the well-known wolf-sheep democracy analogy.
Sorry, I can't shed tears for anyone who was so stupid as to think replacing Ghadafi with the Muslim Brotherhood was a good idea. That covers pretty much the whole Hussein administration.

According to his biography on Wikipedia, both parents later remarried, and he has a half-sister by his father’s second marriage. It appears that his father is still alive. There is no mention of Chris being married (or formerly married).
