Saw "Obama's America, 2016"

Posted on 09/19/2012 7:13:49 AM PDT by Vinylly

So, after reading and hearing all about the film '2012, Obama's America', we finally go a chance to see it. It was on Monday at 3:00 PM. There were about 10 people in the theater, (who sees a movie at 3:00 in the afternoon?) so I really don't know what the evening attendence is. Since I listen regularly to talk radio, to hosts like Rush Limbough, Sean Hanity, and Mike Medvid, there wasn't really anything about Obama that was new to me. However, it was all new to my wife since she doesn't listen to talk radio. Eccept for people like my wife, I'm afraid the movie is just 'preaching to the choir'. The movie is very factual and if anyone ever read any of Obama's books about himself and his father, there should be no dispute. If the left is all upset by this movie, all they have to do is read Obama's books and they will realize it's all true. But, of course they will never see the movie, and probably never read his books. The only thing new was at the close of the movie, an economic advisor says by 2016 the U.S. will have a debt of $20 TRILLION dollars. I think he's wrong, at the rate Obama's going, it will be far more then that.

That's only because it's $20,000,000,000,000 that the greedy rich refuse to pay in taxes!

Can't say I totally disagree. However when you see it all together and add the graphics such as “The United States of Islam” even to the choir it surely reinforces the importance of defeating this movement.

:: I listen regularly to talk radio, to hosts like Rush Limbough, Sean Hanity, and Mike Medvid [sic].”

Medved is a “squish”, nearing RINO territory. Turn him off.

Any rational person that actually WORKS and pays net taxes living in Obama’s America circa 2009-2012 doesn’t need to see what 4 more years of this Muslim’s rule would be like.

The fact that pollsters are even able to concoct poll results using heavily manipulated sample/identification sizes giving O a good prognosis speaks VOLUMES about the number of snake-belly low lifes in this country. People so absorbed in ‘getting their fair [albeit undue] share’. If he wins, then we devolve and this country as it was is no more.

I learned some details as to why Obama is the filthy turd-world marxist that he is, but the movie is especially edifying for those on the fence about November.

Among political documentaries. '2016' is already #2 ALL-TIME at the box office, and is less than $2 million away from claiming the #4 spot ALL-TIME among ALL documentaries...not bad.

They are trying to get this to cable television by mid-October...

Medved is not a “squish.” He differs from many radio guys in that he stays calm, does not insult or yell at those who call in, and he is articulate.

He has an excellent grasp of history — ever listen to his program on holidays when his recordings about the Revolution or the Civil War, etc. play? Truly informative and inspirational.

I have heard Medved state the reasonable and conservative case many times, generally while completely destroying the liberal arguments of his caller. He’s just nice about it, so the more angry among us call him names like “squishy.”

I find him highly effective.

Comparing “The United States of Islam” graphic in the movie to all the “blowups” going on in the Mideast right now is Scary.

My husband and I went on a Friday afternoon showing - theater was about 3/4 full and I noticed that many people were in their 50’s and 60’s. We are both 40 and were the youngins in bunch. I wish more people our age were engaged and informed but I am confident that most are ignorant, liberally educated and sheeple. Even my own supposedly conservative brother told me yesterday that I needed to quit listening to so much Rush and move to the middle - very disappointing.

Medved is very rude to birthers, yet he believes in bigfoot.

“However, it was all new to my wife since she doesn’t listen to talk radio.”

I find that amusing. I don’t listen to talk radio, either. However I do get all of the news from FR.

My wife will come to me and say that such-and-such just happened or so-and-so just said...

I tell her, “Yeah, I already read that. She asks, “How do you know?” I say, “I read it on FR.”

Yep, my wife and I are 52, other than a couple of teens with their parents, I think we were about the youngest also.

One thing I learned from the film....Soetoro started making good money in the oil industry, and this ‘sell out’ on his part is one of the reasons mom sent Barry to Hawaii. She didn’t want Soetoro to be a ‘bad’ influence.

I also did not know that Barry’s high school was ultra liberal.

A few people behind me were having some ‘eureka’ moments, as they were learning new things.

The theater was packed...the demographic was 55 y/o caucasion. I’m in my 40’s; and, I swear I was the youngest there.

My husband and I went last Friday and were among the youngest in the crowd and we are in our 60s! I wish there were more younger people in attendance. But, believe me, do NOT underestimate us baby boomers. We probably need to use a cane, but will stand and fight this intrusion to the finish! My prayer every day is that our nation takes a stronger turn toward goodness and light.

Like a broken record I’ll write it again:)

This movie needs to be bootlegged and put on the internet - that’s where the younger demographic watches most things.

I’ve been trying to get my husband to go and see this movie with me - he keeps saying that I should just go myself- but I don’t need to see it - he does!....he has a peripheral understanding of what’s wrong with O.

I thought that Medved was pretty conservative as well.

However, my opinion of him changed when a group that I belong to, had Medved into host a group rating movies, Medved strongly urged the audience to continue to purchase tickete even to virtual filth, as a way to be able to continue to "influence" those who make movies.

I totally disagretheirs the notion that if I refuse to support movies that go against my values but have some modicum of a conservative message, I'll have "no voice" with moviemakers. I decided that it was Medved's job to be a movie reviewer, so he's not about to. It off the hand that fed him.

That was a number of years ago and since that time, I've refused to purchase tickets to most movies made in Hollywierd, they've lost more and more money but continue to make worthless movies.

The difference is, I no longer pay any attention Medved as I know who pays him the most, and it's not for giving advice to people like me.
