Constitutionally impermissible to Google search for public records?

Makes no sense. If a cop can see evidence of an illegal act through an open windows. in a car or a residence, they can take action. There were several busts years ago when baggies were left out in the open.

I understand that cops and the CIA (j/k) use lots of service/delivery/repair/post men to gather information.

Just don't understand what is different from a drivers license search or a phone number search to looking up an address in MLS, the tax rolls or any other source of Google info.

Of course, if the O’bots love Google and let them search our private info, there may be something to this ...

For most purposes the pubicly accessible files with names and addresses are not public records. Motor vehicle records in a sort of a mirror image are virtually all public records and are generally not publicly accessible ~ which leads to some differences in the way you can use them, and how their use could affect a downstream criminal matter.

You could still stop a letter carrier to find out where an address was ~ but if you inquired of where Billybob was located that's a different sort of question.

Guar-an-tee if there's something a defense lawyer can make use of to get off a guilty client, he'll do it ~ search and seizure is an open field for those guys.

Some of these kooks would shoot citizens like they do dogs, if they could get away with it.

They have no resepect for others and get a thrill up their leg using the power of their badge to harm people as best they can get away with. No human life or being is innocent to them. Every citizen is viewed as a crime waiting to happen.

It’s a post Christian mentality.

None of them are PEACE OFFICERS anymore. They are LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS. There’s a huge difference in mentality dealing with citizens, and incidents.

They fear being shot by their own close brothers if they start trying to clean the ranks. You know, that’s why only cops should have guns.

I have total hatred for cops...

There really are good hearted, just cops. Don’t hate ‘em all.

Work to change their training and standards of practice. Organize a citizen oversight committee of your local police. That gives a group in power for citizens to go to when crazy cops come onto your property and shoot your dog as if it is SOP. Don’t let government officials appoint the police oversight committee members! It really works.

I will tell you.

The priority is OFFICER SAFETY above everything else. Screw the Constitution. Screw the wrong person getting shot. Screw the wrong address. Screw the family dog. Screw the cat.

You will shoot first and whitewash whatever eff up happened, later on.

They are ENFOCEMENT OFFICERS not PEACE officers.

Then you’re dead because he’s already got his weapon out and he’s used it already.

New World Order Internal Security force world. We are all now just pre-criminals. They’re just waiting for the laws to be passed to either make us criminals, or waiting for us to slip up.

Someone actually won against one of these dog-killing monsters.

I remember the story about the guy who was not hired by the police, because he was too intelligent. This cop is obviously fully qualified. This would be the only time Barack Obama is correct, when he said "the police acted stupidly".

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) --

The New London Police Department's rejection of Robert Jordan because he scored too high on an intelligence test did not violate his rights, according to a United States District Court Judge.

The city's rationale for the long-standing practice is that candidates who score too high could soon get bored with police work and quit after undergoing costly academy training.

I don’t give a flying flip what “uniform” takes aim at my dogs.

The end result will be same.

And no, I don’t care if I get gunned down, too.

[and why am I not surprised about this particular poster’s ‘loophole confession’?]

Since the Dog People will be on this thread, here’s another recall:

Chihuahuas are too ‘mouthy and uppity’.

You know how he despises ~anything~ that dares to question his absolute control and [perceived] superiority.
