Become precinct chairs and join local delegations, take over your local and state GOP, etc. Get in force during the primary behind a single candidate, don't just split up among a half-dozen sniping at each other. Get in the actual business of the party, not just the same-old single digit percent third party voters that are always around.
Amen!

Deb, what i firmly don't believe is that Romney knows any Conservatives, or that he's ever encountered any Conservatives when it comes to legislative initiatives.

He obviously fears them.

Which he should after this campaign ~ if he ever starts it!

Where exactly did you find this abandoned cat?

First rule, make sure that NO ONE who is not at least a Republican gets on the list of formal candidates to run in the Republican primaries.

This time we had only 3 candidates who'd been lifelong Conservative Republicans. All 13 of the others had questionmarks besides their names, and a couple actually held office as DEMOCRATS!

I’m not sure I follow.

Who would have been eliminated during the recent primary if your rule had been in effect?

Democrat campaign workers; Democrat appointees to public office; Democrats elected to public office; Democrat major donors; Libertarian active, practicing candidates; .......

Lot of you guys imagine RINO applies only to Leftwingtards who show up infiltrating the Republican party or Conservative circles within the party. It actually referred originally to Second String Democrats in Souvrn' states who made a deal to run as a Republican to edge out a regular Democrat incumbent. They were actually Democrat career politicians or wannabee career politicians who didn't feel they were getting ahead sticking with that party. More recently we've seen the phenomenon in New England. The GOP-e is running one for president in fact.

However you want to define them the DAY OF THE RINO is over and the DAY OF THE CONSERVATIVES is upon us. Time to drive out the RINOS ~ and it looks like one of the places is in the holy of holies ~ the designation of candidates acceptable to run as Republican candidates for president. We could have stopped this nonsense last year and saved everyone millions and a lot of trouble. Obamugabe would be on the run!

Over the years I’ve noticed that what you “firmly don’t believe” is usually pretty weird, but endearing. Your firm non-beliefs about Romney are no exception and I still love you.

Don’t forget to vote Nov. 7th.

Will do. (The GOP will get almost all of my downticket votes.)

Stop pretending you're a conservative. No conservative supports a huckster who would decimate our military and abandon Israel.

God Bless you too!

I am just so distressed that we are now faced with a 3rd party of not only Virgil Goode, but also Gary Johnson. If it was at all possible in this state of affairs that a 3rd party could actually win, I would be all for it. And if the stakes weren’t so high meaning any vote taken away from the only one that could actually win over this terrible president, I really, really am worrying now!

I do see these 3rd parties are going to take any possibility of getting the usurper out away. I’m just devastated!

Like Mittens?

who would decimate our military and abandon Israel.

Point me to the evidence that Goode would do these things, and I'll renounce him.

Well, it IS after 5....somewhere.

You don’t know where your own candidate stands on foreign policy? Why am I not surprised? It doesn’t take much to find, really. Give it a try. I bet you can find it. Any site featuring his stand on issues has it.

I could be wrong...the Republicans might actually concern themselves with the 1-3% who voted third party and totally change everything to appeal to that very select cohort four years from now if Romney loses.

However, history and logic makes me think differently.
