Justin Bieber throws up on stage during 'Believe' tour opener(Video)

Justin Bieber played the sold-out first show of his "Believe" tour Saturday night (Sept. 29), and fans got a little something extra as well -- though probably not what Bieber was hoping to give them.

The 18-year-old pop star vomited on stage midway through his set in Phoenix. As you can see in the video below, during his performance of "Out of Town Girl," he turns away from the crowd, doubles over and lets fly before running off stage.

He returned a few minutes later but then had to leave the stage again during "Beauty and a Beat," USA Today reports. The show stopped completely for a few minutes until he returned and confessed his illness.

What a coincidence. His music makes me want to vomit too.

Milli Vanilli moment there possibly coming to light...would have to see...there are so many bed tracks being laid out today it wouldn’t shock me. I know 80% of Janet Jackson and 90% of Britney Spears’ shows are all tape.

I feel sorry for him. He could have canceled but tried to muscle through for his fans. Not a fan myself but I appreciate his work ethic,

Good point.

When a pro-life singer pukes because of drinking too much milk (a big no-no prior to a singing/dancing routine) I’m not really sure its equal to a liberal drug addled Jim Morrison moment.

Hate his music, but kid is pretty well grounded (at least in comparison to others in the music industry)and a hard worker. His connection and reaching out to a 6 year old girl with cancer (who just recently died) was a class act.

Milli Vanilli did not even record their songs, someone else sang them. Big difference from lip syncing.

I’ve never understood why so many people seem to hate or ridicule him as much as they do. If you don’t like him, don’t watch him (I’ve never seen him peform myself, nor do I think I’ve ever heard one of his songs) but leave the poor kid alone. He’ll make money as a teenager because he’s enough of a showman to attract an audience. Then he may flame out or he may not. He hasn’t said or done anything obnoxious. He appears to be a decent kid. My view is just let him alone.
