I’m praying he takes the gloves off and (rhetorically) slaps Obama with them. Is that un-Christian of me? :)
I prayed this morning that Romney would be “on fire” tonight at the debate. Here’s his one chance to speak to much of the country without the media filter and he needs to have a passion in him that says “we urgently need a new direction and I’m the guy who can change it”.
I don’t think a cool, detached Romney will resonate with undecideds but a fervent and impassioned Romney might. If he flubs this, the second and third debates won’t matter.
He has to eviscerate Obama’s job performance and vision while selling his own. If he does that tonight, the election will swing his direction big time.
Some time today, everyone who loves this country should pray for Mitt. The ones that don’t wouldn’t pray anyway.
I am, have been, and will continue to pray not only all day today and throughout the debate, but also for the next five weeks and all debates to come, etc. I have a lot of faith and I’m calling on it now for sure!!!! God bless us all, and God bless Mitt!!!
Dear Lord,
We thank you for this day, this hour, this minute and this day.
We humble ourselves in your presence and ask you to forgive our sins and heal our land. We know God will not be mocked and we ask that you remember who originally left you out of their party platform this year. Just sayin’.
Tonight we pray that our presidential candidate’s true intentions and motives be revealed. We ask that God’s people not only have your wisdom on how to vote, we remember Chick-Fil-A Day and also pray that God’s people turn out to vote.
May God’s will be done.

Seems the Lord has us pretty much in agreement in our prayers for Governor Romney tonight ... clarity of thought, calm yet forceful demeanor, favor with the viewers. I add the prayer that the Lord would break the back of the media, that the floodgates of truth would be opened. Amen and Amen ...

Only if Jesus was wrong to take up a whip and drive the money changers out of the temple.
Personally I think what the Biblical Jesus would have to say to liberals and Democrats would get Him crucified again in a heartbeat.
