0bama: Beware of the Silent Majority
Canada Free Press ^ | October 6, 2012 | J.D. Longstreet

Silent, they may be—but silent they shall not remain. They are ready to set things aright.

This is the unseen, uncounted, power the pollsters miss. It is the power of deep conviction that things are terribly wrong in America and they, the so-called Silent Majority, have a responsibility to the constitution, to the country, to their fellow Americans, and yes, to their families and themselves, to step up, to lean in, and to reclaim their birthright—before it is lost forever.

These quiet Americans have the fortitude and the determination of the all the ancient defenders of freedom. They know—and they understand—the stakes for America. Losing THIS fight it not an option.

0bama: Beware of the Silent Majority

We could strike again -- actually, in 1972 we were the Silenced Majority -- we did not have modern talk radio and the Internet..

Election 1972 did not work out as McGovern, the campus radicals (spoiled brats IMO), and the liberal media figured. (Darn.. look! Watergate!)

Different world. He controlled the media, and if the war had not come, might not have been elected the third time.

Fairly long article, and well worth the time.

Articles like this remind me of the true America, the country I love. Just what I needed.

——They are concerned and deeply, deeply, angry. ——

Yes we are....very very angry

I have a suspicion that 2012 will make 2010 look like a cakewalk....

For the libtards ....

We don’t yell, scream, chat for the cameras like the OWS fools. In 1994 and 2010, the silent majority was deeply disturbed after seeing 2 years of new leftist administrations and turned out in force to wreak destruction on the enemies of our great nation. I know that I know that this election will be the same.

Glad you liked it. Too bad it only got published in Canada, Eh?

I witness this all around me - and I live in one of the bluest of BLUE counties in our nation!

I work with a ton of idiot lefties - the bloom was off the rose for 0bama a very LONG time ago. They spent EIGHT YEARS complaining about President George Bush - once they had 0bama they shut up - but nary a PEEP about what a ‘great’ job he’s been doing. *SMIRK*

Even Armchair Socialists in ‘The People’s Republik of Madistan’ are getting it! He’s harming THEM and they don’t like it one bit!

Now, we’ll be on to 4 or 8 more years of Republican control and they’ll be happy b*tchin’ about how MISERABLE they are as they drive to a JOB in their NEW CAR and have MONEY for GASOLINE and GROCERIES and new TATTOOS and PIERCINGS.

*ROLLEYES*

We live in ‘Upside Down World’, I tell ya!

I fear that given the state of public school education, in time, there will no longer be a silent majority, especially with the anti-American, marxist idealogues in control of the direction of public school education. No doubt that local and state governments need to seize full control of education, lest we lose all sense of history and perspective on what it truly means to be an American and upon the foundations of which America came.

In other words, beware of those who work for a living. We don’t attend political rallies on Tuesday afternoons like 0bama goons because we’re at work. We don’t camp out on state legislature front lawns for months because we work. But we’ll sure as hell get out and vote because we’re sick of liberal and RINO deadbeats. It’s time to do some major firing of govt. officials.

Diana, thank you for the link.

I find these sentences at the end quite powerful as a summation:

These quiet Americans have the fortitude and the determination of the all the ancient defenders of freedom. They know—and they understand—the stakes for America. Losing THIS fight it not an option.

Without America standing in the breech, the free world will fall as dominoes—and the socialist/Marxist tyrants will truly rule the world.

These people who love their God, their families, their constitution, and their America—these people who suffer so much scorn and derision from the elitist of the left WILL have their say.

These people are not to be trifled with. It was THEY who coined the phrase: “We have four boxes with which to defend our freedom: the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box.”

And THESE are the people who have resolved to rescue their country from the practitioners of the philosophy of Lenin, Marx, and Engels NOW, before it is too late.

Excellent article!

I think this same sentiment was shown at many Chick-Fil-A’s a while back. No grandstanding, no big announcements; just a whole lot of folks quietly & patiently waiting in line to show support & voice their opinion.

On a side note — DH and I went to Chick-Fil-A today to pick up a late lunch for the family. The place was absolutely packed! Long line going around the building for drive-thru’ and three/four deep at the registers. None of the other fast-food places in the same area were even close to that busy. Felt real good :)

“I know that I know that this election will be the same.”

Agreed. But cripes! What a MESS we have to clean up after four SHORT years! This d*ckhead has done SO much damage to our Republic...it’s breathtaking! I’ve been a Political Junkie since I was 17. (That’s 36 years for those of you playing at home, LOL!)

It happens time and time and time again! Republicans clean up the HORRIFIC messes that the Dems leave behind. We get so flippin’ LAZY when times are good that the Dems strike, then we have 4 (or 8!) years of this Socialist Crapola to REVERSE...and we’re STILL behind!

It’s kinda p*ssin’ me off...

And I’m pretty sure there’s a HUGE Mideast Mess to clean up, not to mention that we’ll most likely be attacked on our own shores again in the very near future.

Sorry to go on so long; I’ve pretty much HAD it at this point! Grrrrr!

“I have a suspicion that 2012 will make 2010 look like a cakewalk...”

I’m hoping it’s a brutal bloodbath. And I hope we LEARN from this - but for some reason, I’m pretty sure we won’t. ;)
