"Entire cities in the World of Warcraft have been destroyed with no one spared, not even the NPCs. About 13:00 GMT, forums on WOW started getting the first comments from users regarding players and NPCs dying on the Ragnaros-EU realm in Orgrimmar. Users of the online game started reporting that Draenor had a similar sight to offer. Some of the other realms where this was reported include Tarren Mill, and Twisting Nether."
Also at Joystiq, and (with more screenshots) at WCCF Tech, which reports that "it appears the damage is most severe in World of Warcraft European servers."
And...here comes my annual “seasonal affective disorder”/”bottomless pit of despair”.
They made him The Emperor of Mankind!
[besides...I'd still freeze for lack of “insulation”..winter for skinny people sucks]
I could always buy a Can-Am Spider 'trike' and put the skis back on.
I’ve got a lot of insulation.
I’d be happy to donate a hunert pounds or so...
Trust me. Winter sucks for fat people too.
Thanks for the artist’s name. Loved that cover. He looks like my L27 barbarian in D3.
omg the virtual carnage!
how do you kill that which hath no life?
when you have no real life, virtual life must look pretty good, to some. others just go and work harder and make a life for themselves in the real world. actually interact and do things for actual other people that could use a little help or companionship.
Well after half my life in the NY Adirondack park, the ‘cold’ wastes of the AZ Mojave desert are...shall we say...welcome.
Except May-Sept when it’s a chilly 130. In the shade. Ot the lack of it ;)
Point to ponder:
As screwed up as our current world is, I don’t blame people for saying F’it and just withdrawing.
Back when our spring biker bash was worth a crap, we’d get Molly Hatchet or Blackfoot as the Saturday night band.
Now it’s always some “popular local band”.
When Joe 6-pack showed me your Harley, it took my breath away and then just mesmerized me — a fantastically beautiful work of art. We spent a weekend’s afternoon studying the online galleries at the site you provided. Joe has visited the Frazetta museum, and I look forward to accompanying him the next time around. You never cease to amaze me, Salamander de l’Oakwood. ;^)
The virtual administration is considering all those wiped-out virtual cities and gearing up for virtual martial law.
Non Player Character
...that scene looks like Orgrimmar, the home city of the Orcs, members of the Horde faction.
Cinematic for the latest expansion of the WoW...
You know there has been cases of players going on until dead of exhaustion? No sleep or food for days, then pop.
