Get my wish, Romney will mundify

Good times will be ending
For Egypt and Libya. Defund. Defy.

I wish both Parties would mundify their arguments about why they are best for this nation, when they use the same old chestnuts that are often ignored by the general public. It’s the 21st Century. Update your 19th century arguments!!

xsbaby is going to push the boundaries at school today, hopefully they haven’t kicked her out ; ) She wore her Romney t-shirt to school. She has Romney and Allen stickers festooning her laptop. I think i forgot to mention that she has recently become friends with JUDGE BORK’s GRANDSON! last week she mentioned that a boy in her advisory group, a freshman, had started talking politics to her and her friend Conor, who also interned for Romney this past summer. Anyway, she texted me on Friday to say do you know a Judge Bork, bc that’s this kid’s grandpa! anyway, she had given robert3 [bc yes he’s robert bork III] a romney sticker and he had put it on his laptop and i guess someone told him to take it off. so he had xsbaby go with him to the dean of students [who is also her government teacher] to ask about it and he said that it was a senior privilege yada yada. so she had it in her mind to test out the tshirt. she said i want to say to him, you are talking to us about the Constitution and then you are going to tell me i can’t wear the tshirt? so we will see how this goes!

of course she had no idea who Judge Bork is, and i texted back, he is an EXTREMELY BIG DEAL to conservatives. it was funny bc the day before she was just glad that there was another conservative in her HS! the place is pretty rife with libs. The nephew of the national security advisor, Tom Donelon, is also there. This HS has less than 100 kids in it, bc they are LD.

Reminds me of my favorite “Young Ones” quote:

Mike: Neil, it is very rare you interest me, but today you have. Why do you keep coming in here, carrying a cake, and saying surprise?

Neil: It’s my birthday.

Mike: Now you knew that anyway, and we don’t care, so where’s the surprise?

Gloomy and 71-nice hiking weather, but not weather that encourages people to want to get estimates on remodeling stuff...

With all the eager thoughts
Of all the ways to mundify
The house, the grounds and AF1
Which is the best to try?

Put back the historical objects
The Obamas have hidden away-
Unpack the tasteful artwork
And 86 the pictures of Che

Have a massive garage sale where
The best price gets and goes
Out the gates with golf clubs and
Michelle Antoinettes’ ugly clothes...

Maybe it is a regional thing, or that I usually eat corn by itself or as cornbread-but I’m not familiar with corn chowder-is it a stew, like clam chowder?

Looks like Barack and Michelle were too lazy to keep their law licenses, so the mundified their lives of the mundane field of law. Much more exciting being king and queen.

BuzzFeed tells all. Boring, but has the ring of truth. Deets on MO's lackluster work record is amusing.

she had to meet with her teacher about her honors government project and he said something like he wasn’t sure how long she’d be able to keep the stickers on her laptop. she said “just rep’ing my BOSSES..” she loves to say she works for Romney/Ryan. if anyone fussed about the tshirt she was prepared to say she is going directly to work after school. the thing is she KNOWS that the obamabots walked around festooned with Obama crap to the hilt 4 years ago. Granted the gov teacher/dean of students is new this year, and the principal is also new, but i know she will bring that up.

It’s Amish if anything. I started making it after visiting the Amish region in Pennsylvania. They had lots of all you can eat places and they all served it. I was hooked. Brought home a post card with a recipe on it and adapted it a bit.
