I use Hoppes #9 on the bore and then Breakfree CLP on the bore and bolt.
I use Ezzox on the finish.
Eezox protects my blued Dan Wesson 44 in Everglades humidity, rains, etc.
Super stuff, indeed. The owner of a gun shop on northern Key largo told me he uses it on a gate opener chain. Years later, it is still rust free!
PS Minus Eezox, that non-SS chain would have rusted away/frozen solid in a few months.
