Where I work 65% are Indian Nationals (Information Technology). In the parking lot I only see 1 car with moonbat bumper stickers.

My employer, a defense contractor, ignored the Obama White House order and Lockheed’s lead and went ahead and informed people of layoffs. It’s not a mass notice to the public, but was to employees. Don’t know how many or who yet, but they did say so.
My company has been pushing itself further into the political correctness arena, proud of LBGTA scores and diversity ratings by the feds. Service to the customer was secondary. Let’s say lots of attrition of conservatives in this environment, and many liberals stayed or hired.
The remaining conservatives already disliked Obama and now despise him. The liberals were thrilled at him, with many blacks putting up pictures of him like Jesus icons. Now it is muttering or hatred, depending on whether you hate the lack of a raise or found out you are losing your job.

They know the gig is up. They are quiet. They will be secretly relieved when Romney wins; because deep down they want to have a job and a future just like we do.

I've almost got my partner convinced to vote against obama. My partner is usually apolitical and generally doesn't vote, but I've been gradually bringing him to the fold with the help of another employee. I think my partner will likely vote Romney.

Libs are noticably quiet.

I am retired, but my boxer and my chocolate lab say that they are voting for Romney.

This is a delicate topic at work, and I’ve got my self into a fix over it. I’m certainly bright enough not to make rabid statements or whatnot, but I do answer when asked an opinion. It’s based on those occasional lunchroom answers that the entire team knows I’m conservative and I’m able to explain why in simple, but informed (thanks FR!)terms

Our office is conservative, in general. 1. AA B.O. quasi supporter, 1 undecided who is baffled as to why he knows so many apparently intelligent folks that he is close to support B.O., 1 unknown, and 5 conservative to right leaning, inlcuding me and a Jewish woman (she voted O last time and is disgusted)

Knowing what I know about office politics and the potential for a hostile environment for the AA member, I am very gentle about my thoughts on the issues, stating only facts and never opinion an then only when asked. I encourage others to keep the harsher comments out of the discussion, knowing that they outcome could be bad for everyone. I can’t stand it when they refer to B.O. as a dumbass, etc. It doesn’t move the ball forward and it could offend others, creating a hostile environment where we all end up unemployed.

Lately, I have minimized the topic of politics altogether, except when my own boss is asking, which he did today. He likes to ask “Give me your elevator explaination of why Romney should get my vote, etc. Today, he asked about the debate.

The AA member of the team is potentially a conservative, based on her outspoken opinions, but she’s “obligated” to support B.O, for lack of a better term. I don’t push anything on her, and I try to play it down the middle when she brings it up: “both had good points”, Obama did better this time”, etc.

In short, it doesn’t matter, at this point, even if I back away completely. In fact, if I did so, I think it would trigger suspicion to the fact that we all should stay out of it for the sake of harmony. The damage is done and I am now too widely known to deny my leanings. I’m just trying to keep those conversations short and respectful. I’m looking forward to the election, and then I’ll begin weaning people off from asking my opinion.

The office is really no place for politics.

The libs around here are very quiet, almost looking ashamed! The repubs and Conservatives are getting more and more outspoken every day!

Yesterday, during a discussion of Libya, I heard “it’s time to move on.” Yes, that’s right. The people who, four years later, still want to run against GWB, believe that 30 days is far too long to obsess on the murder of a US ambassador and three other American citizens.

I don't work, but I did the grocery shopping on Wednesday. In ‘08, Obama bumper stickers were prominent and I mean prominent.

I didn't spot one and I parked far away from the front of Kroger's, purposely looking for bumper stickers.

I might add, that my small Mississippi town is equally divided racially, meaning that our population is likely half black.

Romney bumper stickers were not prominent either, but I counted two, both on SUV's, one buying gasoline and the other parked.
