As a former educator I am absolutely appalled at reading this but I am not surprised. Incidents like this are happening across our country, but we are not hearing about it!

Please, Virginia Freepers, do everything you can to make sure this FR link goes to everyone on your email lists, and ask them to do the same. Contact your local School Board and make them aware that you want to be assured that nothing like this happens in your local schools! Contact EVERY media outlet in your state and demand they report this!

The ONLY advice I can give any parent who reads this is to ALWAYS be involved in what is going on in your child's classroom and education! And I mean from Pre-K through college level!

According to the article at WAVY tv, there might be some problems with the story. This is a “special needs” class, the teacher isn’t Muslim, and she’s been teaching for 23 years. I think I’ll wait for more information before I get too excited about this.
