Considering we live, work, worship and in many cases sleep together just about every day I'd say about 85% of that whole deal is created in the feverish minds of the media. They can make a good buck peddling the loons attached to both programs to out-of-staters who don't know any better that the weirdos are not the norm. I wouldn't say they are exceptions, just not the norm.
That said, come Iron Bowl Gameday....
Alabama is a conservative state but we have our fair share of liberals too unfortunately. I tend to believe they are more irritating here because they have that huge chip on their shoulder.
I think right now Auburn fans are more upset with Chizik than anything else.

Nope. I would gladly trade this season if our oaks would live. That may be just me, but those oaks have a lot of wonderful memories for me, from the time I was seven and living on West Magnolia.

It should be a good one. Florida actually has me worried. One thing is for sure, the SEC title game will decide the National Champion.

I do think Florida is a year away from really challenging Bama, but they’ve surprised me this year, their defense has been real stout. I think they can hang in there with Bama, but I don’t know if our offensive is good enough to control their defensive line.
Florida has no passing game. If Bama stuffs the run then they got nothing. The Gator defense is impressive, however.
