Game on! Go G-men, crush the kitties!
To: Carry_Okie
No such theatrics tonight. The only drama was whether they would finish before the heavy rains set in.

San Francisco in the World Series. Deal with it America!
I love the team as much as I hate the city!
To: DoctorBulldog
The Giants shut down the Cards in the last 3 games as the Cards managed to score just one run in those last 3 games.
I knew that if the Giants could get back to SF they had a good chance to take the series.
Detroit will be tougher though as they are rested and can pitch Verlander twice if needed.

I thought the Giants played on Sunday. In fact, I know they did. Great game. That last minute touchdown was amazing.

As a life long Dodger fan, I ask you to just let it go.

Last three games: SF 20, STL 1. Giants played stellar defense, Cards were very sloppy.
Detriot is well rested, but the Giants get an off day at home, while the Tigers travel tomorrow. Verlander will be formidable, but the G's bullpen is better.

I could never root for San Fransicko.

The Dodgers will be very tough next year. Even now, I'd say they are more likely than the Giants to win the NL West.
For tonight, however, the Giants are National League Champions.
To: Carry_Okie
Who was on base when Thomson hit that home run?
To: SVTCobra03
I could never root for New York, or Los Angeles, or Chicago. Those cities have inflicted far more cultural rot upon our nation.
Come to think of it, is there any team in a major sport that is represented by a conservative in Congress?
To: stillonaroll
For tonight, however, the Giants are National League Champions. If it's not be the blue crew then the Giants will do.
