Brit said a national poll done by the bi-partisan, respected Battleground polling group will be released tomorrow showing Romney up by 5.
This would be huge - that would make 3 major national polls showing Romney ahead solidly.
Too many of those to count
There is no mathematical way they can retain the senate.
The only thing they can do is mitigate what Size a majority Republican Senate will be....

Daay-um!! The Battleground poll is usually one of the most accurate! This is awesome news!
Hubby has been telling me that it is going to be a blowout since before the end of the primaries. He was thinking 40 states; but, when I told him that I just saw an article saying that Ohio is a dead heat, he says he may revive his estimate to 43.

Yes, it was! You might be interested to know that they had bulldozers there all day creating a berm of sand 7 or 8 feet high just on the other side of the stone wall that lines Soundview Dr. The first row of houses all had sandbags in front of them. Downtown, all the stores on the Post Road from Jessup Rd. up to Church Lane were putting sand bags in front. Mayor Moccia in Norwalk just announced that they were expecting a storm surge as high as 16 feet! That east wind is shoving water into the Sound and not letting it out. We're going to be seeing the accumulation of 4 tide cycles of water before it starts going out again. Its going to stink around here later in the week.

You have a set of national polls, to include Gallup, and Rasmussen, that show Romney with a 4, 5, 6 point lead, depending on which poll you look at. There will be another one out tomorrow, this is a bipartisan poll called the battleground poll, which is a solid poll, reliable poll it will show Romney up 5, nationally.
WALLACE: In the battle ground states.
HUME: No, it’s called the battleground poll that’s the name of it, but it is a national poll.
Now, if those polls are generally correct it is difficult to imagine that Ohio would be all that different. Ohio has pretty closely tacked the national outcome for — since about 1960. So, it is certainly true, and worth noting, that Mitt Romney does not now lead in a single Ohio poll. But I can’t believe that that national poll wouldn’t tell you something about how Iowa will go if the polls are correct.
What did the last Battleground poll show? (sorry I am in poll overload mode, and can’t keep up with them all)
