I've had no faith in our voting system since Clinton and I believe many others think that way too. It's a sham now and it's always been a sham. The US is too big a money producer to let it's leadership selection up the little guy.
I have no desire to ever vote again. I'll stick with prayers
I am gob smacked but I kept thinking that all the votes aren’t counted yet. I am not willing to accept this result until I see the final tally.
What I know is Israel will now protect itself. the middle east is going to explode and I guess we will find out if pre-trb, mid-trig, post-trig, or post millenials are correct.
Look up our salvation draweth nigh
Yeah, but I don’t think anyone is here to celebrate that fact...you really didn’t need to start a thread to beat yourself up over it...
You also did not see Hurricane Sandy messing things up, either.
Adapt, my ass! Adaptation means to allow those lazy-assed parasites to feed off the fruits of my labor. I'm thinking specifically right now about those Georgetown University law-school students who can't afford fucking $9 per month for birth control. My ass!
Maybe I won't labor so much anymore....
Don’t feel so bad. Steve Forbes really blew it.
“I was wrong too. I believed the pollsters were wrong in their assumptions re the electorate. I also couldnt see how a person that has so utterly failed could be re elected. I apologize.”
Hugo Chavez. Most of the world, actually. We want to think it can’t happen to us. “Not OUR people. We’re different!”
No, maybe Americans aren’t so different from the rest of the world.
On Glenn Beck tonight they said the next phase is bondage, and that's where we are =( But, freedom comes back after that =)
Every value issue LOST tonight. The immoral issues of marijuana, same sex marriage, doc assisted suicide and higher taxes did win. Sad.
Good on you for this post. I was wrong as well. Those that claimed that our electorate has really shifted in a fundamental way, were right. Congratulations to them (I don’t mean that in any kind of snarky way — they were insightful). We ran a decent/good candidate, against a poor candidate saddled with a lousy economy. With a palpable excitement on the Republican side, coupled with a somewhat disinterested Democrat party — we still lost. I am fearful that the tides have shifted, and we are now simply outnumbered by too much.
....or shrug and bring the end sooner in hope of another generation rising with a flame of integrity from the ash heap of history.
I think we got Hugo Chavezed, tonight. Big time.
Which camp are you in?
So maybe next time we'll get a NBC candidate from at least one side!
Don’t pick on yourself. At least you had the guts to make a stand. Try again in four years.
“Dont feel so bad. Steve Forbes really blew it.”
Forbes and Will are just journalists. We expect them to call what they feel instead of what they know.
No unkind words from me, FRiend. I’d say most of us got this one wrong. I’m genuinely surprised at some of the numbers coming out state-by-state.
I'm with you.
I was wrong.
The losers now outnumber the winners in this country.
We won the popular vote so I can’t agree with that so much.
Just think it over...
(1) Seal up your past and pay lawyers 4 million dollars to keep any scintilla of evidence from being uncovered about who you are, with whom you associate, and what you stand for...
(2) Lie & bloviate like there is no accounting for the words of your mouth...
(3) Use slander and character assassination as a primary tool for "winning"...
(4) Entice your constituencies to vote 3 or 4 times in various venues or even different states...
(5) Use entitlements and government give-a-ways to buy the votes of the permanent underclass....
All the while fomenting racial division and class warfare....
(6) Seduce all of the (MSM) "referees"...
.... turning them into slut-cheerleaders...
.... It makes sense when you take a step back...
God bless America...
basically a tie in the final polls and it shows
Romney likely wins popular vote and Obama the EV...handily actually
I do get consolation over the popular vote
deprives him of mandate
get rid Boehner for God's sake and the fight goes on
but we are gonna have to really fight over the GOP...weak men
Obama will continue to screw up the country and our position in the world and maybe even some of the stupids will listen in 2-4 years
hopefully no SCOTUS folks die
but on Obamacare we lose...and that is worst part
I blame Northern White Liberals first and foremost
single moms third
young people last...they are stupid anyhow for now
blacks have always been a lost cause and get less relevant with each decade
these Mexicans...this is where we have to peel them off the anti white reservation...not sure how
in 2010 whites voted 62% GOP
wonder what happened this time...the white vote is easiest mined but damn man...these northern liberals are just nutty by birth...I don't know how anyone lives up there
oh well...I too am surprised
i figured a dead heat was in our favor
