OK...so Obama has won reelection. It will be bad, of that there is NO doubt. However, good can come from this.

This isn't business as usual... a tipping point was reached tonight and this will be beyond salvaging. How are you going to deal with a Supreme Court with three new marxist justices sitting in judgment of us all? obamacare... $10.00 gas etc etc etc.

We are an endangered species and the government and the left are perpetrating hate crimes against us and bigotry towards us daily. The only question is... is there anything that can be done? Politics are dead... the gop became obama’s b**ches tonight. Did you see boehner preening and promising bipartisanship tonight. Business as usual... business in America is a dying art. I close mine next year.

McDonnell-Sandoval sounds like a good combination.

The GOP answer will not be more conservatism

it will be Rubio and more pandering and amnesty which got us where we are to begin with

But we’ve got a President who doubles down on stupid, gives away the USA in foreign policy, he is as bad as a monkey regarding the debt and running of this country and he is hell bent on socialism.

This time I really have to say it. We’re gone as a nation.
Financially we already have gotten downgraded twice.
We are a dying nation under Democrats, but so many people are on government union employment and the dole that they are willing to ride this pony to death as long as they get theirs all the way down.

There is no concept among many that there is an end to all this.

I’m a realist, this isn’t about emotion, this is logic.

TOAST.

Been voting in five decades and this wasn’t just an election, this was a turning point in History like the beginning of the fall of the Roman empire.

Obama leads, the country burns. The end!

Couldn’t agree more!

Btw, I am working on a laptop (not too skilled with the weird laptop mouse!) and finding it particularly challenging because my kids go to school in Quebec and were doing some homework here; they changed it to a French keyboard, so I apologize for any mistakes. I did post something to EoHh a few posts back, and I think we’re talking about the same original post. :)Your 7th point is the most useful and inspiring thing I’ve heard all evening. Thank you for the reminder and God bless you for posting it.

Americans are optimistic! We can’t give up the fight. :)

You will be blue in a few years. Your best chance is to secede NOW.

I disagree - R/R won by 17 here in Texas. Blue is many years away, decades, if at all.

The one place where the Tea Party brought about an absolute disaster in 2012 (and in 2010, as well) was in the primary races for U.S. Senate seats. There were 23 Democratic seats contested this year, compared to only 10 for the GOP. The Republicans lost some of these key races they never should have lost — mainly because the “Tea Party” candidates were such abject mediocrities (Akin and Mourdock, for example).

24% of Americans described themselves in the accurate exit polling today as dims... 34% as Conservatives and 40% as self described moderates... and most of them according to Charles Krauthammer are actually dims that are embarrassed to admit it. Unless Conservatism is taught and believed by the candidate... if one does not truly believe in and understand what Reaganism is and was... and if that message is not conveyed in simple and easy to understand terms... then it can never win. The moderates have no idea of what Conservatism is... the 24% that control the media told them that it wasn't good and they believe it.

Also... all of the real hardcore gop/e pundits are stating on Fox that it was the TEA Party and the Conservatives that cost mitt this election... we are unbending and uncompromising and we will not reach out to the center... like the center is anywhere near where the communist bastards reside... and the dim pundits smiled and nodded lovingly in agreement... yeah... we did all that we were asked to do and more... and in return... we first got a knife in the back in the primary... and then the sorry bastards lost our country.

You’re correct. The true problem here is that we have a nation that is half populated by mental children. They will now have to learn basic life lessons the hard way. Unfortunately, the rest of us are unwilling passengers along for the ride.

I am so sick of stupid, completely uninformed people. The impending collapse of this economy and of this country that is now a certainty is entirely on their shoulders. From here on I have absolutely no use nor any human compassion, regardless of their circumstances, for any idiot who voted for this debacle.

As many of us have suspected for a long time, this is all headed toward a real physical civil war or at best a split between a coalition of still-American states and the new Marxist confederacy.

I am a Christian, but at this point if I passed a drowning Obama drone I would throw him an anchor. I know it’s wrong to say that, but I don’t expect to soften my stance for a very long time, if ever.

There is a reason that in the Old Testament God frequently directed the Israelites to wipe out entire nations. It was because once a population reaches a critical mass of degeneracy it is impossible to redeem it without destroying it and starting over. It’s akin to removing a cancerous organ to save the rest of the body.

That’s squarely where we are. Obama and the dems will now be hell-bent to open the illegal immigration floodgates, combined with dramatically increased entitlements and it’s game over. That’s been their plan all along, to create a completely dependent majority voting block. We’re there now, and every person who ever allowed their heart to bleed a little for some poor illegal Mexican who “just wanted to do jobs Americans won’t do” is directly responsible for the destruction of America.

The same goes for every woman who ever voted for a Democrat because of an estrogen-driven desire for the government to substitute for her child’s unknown or absent father. Ditto times 1000 for every woman who voted similarly because she wanted to be able to murder her baby without consequences and with a veneer of acceptability (”choice”) to soothe her troubled conscience. I think we made a huge mistake with that whole suffrage thing.

No, there is no recovering from this other than via God’s remedy of destruction and renewal. As I have said for a long time, Obama is not the problem; he is merely a symptom of the problem. The real problem is a completely degenerate and delusional populace. And as Biblical prophecy predicts, God will now turn them over to their degeneracy and let them reap the full consequences. Also as predicted, once they begin to feel the pain of their own actions they will not wake up and acknowledge their sin but will instead shake their fists at God in defiance.

I think we are finally on the precipice of the events laid out in Daniel, Ezekiel, and Revelation. Throwing Israel under the bus will be the final straw with God and I think explains why the U.S. is not mentioned in prophecy. We are about to reap what we have sown.

Pound Sand. I’ve been here a lot of years, and donated. Check my posts, I’m no troll.
If you believe the Constitution, or the Bill of Rights is going to mean a thing to the SC judges he appoints, you’re dreaming.
Look what happened with Roberts, and Obamacare. These people don’t give a damn about your now imagined rights. The only rights you have are the ones they tell you to have.
They got away with Fast and Furious. He’s gotten away with everything. He has run roughshod over the Congress, and ruled by executive Order for 4 years. What about todays outcome makes you think any of this is going to matter to those jerks inside the beltway, outside of a hot Civil War now?

Obamas policies have failed. He already owns the results. Not enough people care.

If he somehow doesn’t own anything, and somehow four years was not enough to pin anything on him, why would eight? Why couldn’t he blame whatever’s next on Bush the Younger, same as now?

It will be easy to find nations who have more freedom than this one now. What is not a laughing matter is that I sincerely doubt these tyrants will be satisfied with a European style socialism...they are about power and evil...and with the immense power they have at hand...they will most likely want to wield it. So, getting out has more than one side to it...

There are MANY steps short of a Civil War.

The House controls ALL spending and tax bills.

And as far as executive orders, there is "Going Galt" as well as civil disobedience; as well as dangers from foreign policy.

I pray that it is not too late for the country, given (for example) the Muslim infiltration into the power structure in DC -- look at what Maj. Hassan got away with before his shooting.

Not to mention a resurgent China, the possibility of the collapse of the dollar, and an nuclear Middle East.

Obama hasn't yet had to face people more ruthless than him -- but if he weakening our defenses leaves the country vulnerable, others will pay the price.

The same thought crossed my mind tonight. This is ultimately a spiritual battle, and considering liberals' treatment of the Church, I can see where this is heading.

Agree. The GOP and Romney did not fail. The Obama voters failed America. It is their fault that Obama won. They voted for him. And they will end up paying a price. This is what we must shout from the rooftops. We must rub it in their faces every day that the coming decline of America is because of THEM. Not even because of Obama, but because THEY voted for him. Every individual American who voted for Obama is responsible.

I do think that’s what it is about. And I think the next four years of Obama
will enlarge that group. The Takers.
When Reagan was President 84 percent of Americans were working.
16 percent were takers.

47 percent of Americans are on some type of public dole.
And that percent will grow in the next 4 years.
We are out numbered. And it will get worse.
