I’m ashamed of my country!
Vanity | 7 November 2012 | areukiddingme1

For the first time in my adult life I am ashamed of my country – Last night on display for the entire world to see, half of the nation elected the “king of the takers.”

Makers, be on notice!

So what does this mean going forward for America? No one can argue that it does not mean; 1) Higher taxes, 2) Increased debt, 3) Attacks on the 2nd amendment and 4) Weaker US power projection around the world.

The grown-ups simply didn’t outnumber the children last night and the children threw a temper tantrum and got their way – Let’s see how bad it is when it is time for them to pay taxes.

For those of us still alive in 20 years, we must remind these spoiled children that they voted for “redistribution of wealth” and when they are only seeing 50% of their take home pay, they will only have themselves to blame.

I am so thoroughly disgusted with this country this morning.

“The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.” ~ Unknown

“A wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government, and this is necessary to close the circle of our felicities.” ~ Thomas Jefferson

Yes he would have. My biggest failure of judgment was in thinking that the American public would see the value of having somebody in charge who was smart economically, organized, high-functioning and a thoroughly decent person.

Instead they chose a moron clown whose only talents are handouts to his followers and looking smug. And his designated replacement is a senile old loser who doesn’t even know where he is.

And, remember that we have four more years of Obama packing the federal courts with liberals.

Pray more than ever for the continuing service and good health of Supreme Court justices such as Scalia and Thomas and Alito. The Supreme Court could tip with Obama having another four years to fill any vacancies there too.

Yeah. A few times I told left-leaning people that’s why I was voting for Romney. They’d always come back with something like “oh he is for the rich” or if a woman “he wants to mess with my uterus”.

I guess we just didn’t figure there were 60 plus million people that stupid.

“Don’t let them take your family. Just agree not to discuss politics.”

Yes, but politics are always lurking as the white elephant in the room...

Oh I’ve been trying really hard not to to be rude to those jackasses. I’m around them a whole bunch, and on a good day I can tolerate them.

Now I am terse and cold for good.

“My lovely cousin, is tweeting PROBAMA bullshite. What can you do?”

Sometimes, it’s best to break bones with a soft tongue. It took me ten years to nudge my father into conservatism. And I think of myself as a persuasive guy.

My personal belief.

Step One: Be entertaining, pleasant to listen to.

Step Two: Undermine their ‘information’ source.

The rest usually falls in place.

I wasn’t intending to make anyone laugh with that one but I’m glad you did.

I take great joy in amusing people.

Take care.
