Hope the Romneybots and Establishment Republicans are proud of themselves
Vanity | 07 Novermber 2012 | Trueblackman

Seems the Romneybots and Establishment Republicans now want to blame Conservatives like myself for Mittens going down to defeat last night to a political lightweight with a horrible record of mismanagement!

Not only did Mittens lose, but his much hyped coattail never materialized and not only was he defeat handily, but the Republicans lost seats and influence in the Congress.

What the establishment fails to realize and continues to not understand is that when there is not true Conservative or even Conservative Ideas on the ticket, we tend to stay home. It is time for the Republican Establishment to understand that the Karl Rove Model is not and has not worked since 2008 as the Bob Dole Model did not work in 1996.

In closing I will say again what I said last night, "When you run a Liberal against a entrenched Marxist, this is the results." If the Republicans ever want to win a national race again it must give us Conservative Candidates and dump the Dole-McCain-Romney Models as I could not simply buy into the hype of yesterday and vote against my own interest, so I wrote in myself.

Do you want a list of Tea Party winners and see the betting average of TP candidates? The list is long.

Mourock and Akin are ignorant of Pro-life issue. They let the MSM framed the narrative. The question was easy.

But do you know why Romney and Ryan lost? They just dismissed the social issue. It has be addressed clearly.

Joe Miller? You know why he lost to Mrsiskdkkskkdk. Mwskkskerkksksk used an Alinksy tactic.

Hoffman? Angle? O’Donnel? Inexperience.

But the fundamental requirement is “a fighting conservative”, somehow who can articulate the Conservative Principles.

But be honest. all R&R had were pure rhetoric, no concrete and understable plan to solve the current issues.

That means the rule is: Being a conservative is much better than the more than million of youtube hits of Romney as a flip-flopping liar.

Same thing with Paul Ryan returning to Congress to re-fund Obamacare and the Republican caucus was marching a new bill repealing Obamacare.

Smooth sailing campaign? Maybe, that’s how R&R looked on TV.

But under the radar of MSM-loving voters? Liars and hypocrites.

A fighting conservative that lost the battle was ok. But a liberal republican nominee with halo of electability but later lost to election is so difficult to accept.

“Problem is the rinos are not smart enough to realize they were the ones that lost. They will blame it on the Tea Party and ral conservatives”

Bingo!

Only it’s not “will blame” it’s “have blamed.”

I’ve been on the receiving end of the tender mercies of Mormon discrimination, but I still voted for Romney. I’m really getting sick and tired of people who are not going to vote for a Republican so they can “teach them a lesson”. Oh Lord, we have a whole slug of wannabe teachers out there trying to teach people “a lesson”. I remember all those Perot voters teaching everyone a lesson. The lesson was eight years of Clinton. First, they’re not trained to be teachers. Second, they’re not smart enough to teach others. Third, who wants your lesson? Here’s their lesson, “I didn’t get my way so I’m taking my ball and going home!” Good lesson there. They’re going to get a lesson from Obama. I know it because he taught it a few years ago.”Elections have consequences.” That’s the lesson we’re all going to relearn. And we can all go out and build survival shelters and buy guns and the Democrats will take our money with taxes and spend it throwing each other parties while we try to figure out whether we can grow enough corn in the backyard to survive on.

Oh, yeah. We need more like Alan West, eh? He really rallied the vote, didn't he?

Your post is nonsense.

I don’t know if I could be more proud of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan if I tried. I could cry at their courage. Having lived my whole life in the company of some of the finest of military men, I recognize the guts it takes to throw yourself into battle come what may. They gave it all. They spent every bit of themselves, mentally, spiritually, physically, financially. Day after day and night after night these two men and their families dedicated themselves to the nation they love. Only to be told by those who didn’t go, that they didn’t do enough. They didn’t think the right way enough. So, the old anti-war chant “Hell, no, we won’t go....to the polls to vote.” comes into play. As they fought for us and our Constitution, fourteen million zealots stood on the sidelines.......watching. This must have been a nightmare for Evangelicals. What to do? Help these two brave warriors who each belong to what Evangelicals call cults (Mormonism and Catholicism) or do we stand there? It must have been hard to explain to the kids how one can turn away from the battlefield while screaming “Leave no man behind.”Five hundred former generals and admirals supported them thru public declaration. Athletes and hopeful Hollywood put their name on endorsements. Romney and Ryan gave us everything they had. They had no flaws in their character. They had wonderful families to be role models for American kids. But Evangelicals,( who attacked Rick Perry also, but supported Newt Gingrich in South Carolina) decided to eat popcorn during the most historic election of our lifetime. They stayed home. Am I proud of Romney and Ryan? You bet.

West was redistricted out and Romney on the hand was weak from the start and could not appeal to Conservatives like me, give the record of the Bushes and McCain.

They will continue to be a party in decline as long as they follow the Karl Rove Model

Well said. R&R Two men of courage who dared take on the enemy - while those of ‘greater’ convictions took a powder.

The Etch a sketch candidate said vote for me based on who I am not. If the conservatives are to blame, then they must not be the base anymore. The base should be aligned with the candidate.

For anyone who attended a Missouri caucus, the GOPe made it clear conservative opinions were not wanted.

The GOP is done as a national Party, like the Whig Party, it stands for nothing.

The reality is that the GOP needs to end and a regional Party formed that represents the values of the South and Midwest formed.

The NE Establishment GOP has destroyed the Party.

What you said BUMP. I agree completely.

“Hey, let’s nominate a northeast liberal Republican, put some conservative lipstick on him, and try to defeat the communist.” As I recall, the theory was that even if Mittens lost, his coattails would at least help Republicans in their House and Senate races.

Yeah, that was a great idea. The GOP establishment elite just blew it, big time. Time to turn the party upside down.

I already saw a headline where Mittens says he wants the “partisan bickering” to end.
/facepalm

“West was redistricted out and Romney on the hand was weak from the start and could not appeal to Conservatives like me, give the record of the Bushes and McCain.”

Shouldn’t matter. If you’re right, you’re right. Excuses. Romney could not appeal to you? What? Could it be You’re just the wrong kind of Conservative and don’t have your priorities straight? Romney weak? Ryan weak? Maybe you’re not a Conservative at all. Maybe you’re just a dime-a-dozen judge. I know I’m being forced to re-examine my priorities which have been focused on no social agenda, only the Constitution.
Stop blaming people. Rove and Bush, indeed. Sounds like liberal hogwash. Especially aimed at this wonderful Republican ticket. What a cowardly disgrace. I know. I know. Holy grail. I’m gone.

Remember how, 2-3 years ago, we all said things like “this is the last change for the Republican Party”?

Well, now it’s up to us.

One of the best things to come from this election was Paul Ryan. Unlike Palin, Ryan already had a national name for himself and wasn’t depended on to save a failing campaign but to add to it. He was just asked to be Paul Ryan. He doesn’t have any weird traits, qualities or stances that make him a target or a punchline.

As a VP, Ryan would have excelled, but he holds more power as a leading voice in the House at the moment than as a talking point for Romney. I look forward to seeing him battle the Obama regime in the next couple years.

I don’t consider Romney a failure. I consider the American people a failure.

Romney was a disaster as a presidential choice, with his 20 year record of failure and losses.

Joe Miller was the republican nominee that the GOPe turned against, same with Hoffman and O’Donnell, even Aiken and probably more on that list.

What does a party hack like you think, when your party campaigns against it’s own party nominees?

All decades upon decades of me tooism and moving farther left has gotten us is nearer complete collapse.

Moderates fail to realize:

When given the choice between principle and me tooism the electorate will almost always choose the real deal.

Everytime they compromise they are expanding the left’s electorate while shrinking ours.

Taking the country over a cliff doing 50 mph vs 100 mph is inconsequential. We’re still dead.

It is bigger than winning the next election.

That's too bad.

Maybe you should move to Missouri so you can vote for someone like Aiken. Or maybe you can vote for O'Donnell in the true blue state of DE thinking she will win or perhaps you can get your dream conservative candidate voted in in 86% blue Massachussetts where I'm sure a lot of "real conservatives" stayed home and helped Elizabeth Warren to win.

There are all kinds of opportunities for you to help the socialists put us into more debt and misery.

While everything you said is true, I think deep down we all knew the fix was in. They stole this election in early voting. Combine that with soooooo many stupid people and it becomes almost impossible to fix.
