I’m not sure which is my favorite part — probably where the young woman explained that “food is free, all you have to do is pay the farmers” — but I think the “vegetable trees” was the best. Actually, I think the most edifying part was watching the Santa Cruz, California city council sit impassively to the very end, or maybe the strangled applause just before they asked for the next speaker.

J don’t know you can be council member and listen to sober issues, from sobering people and still be sober in these meetings....

Not in Santa Cruz County, unless you happen to be an illegal alien or an "artist" - in which case you not only get the land, they build a house for you.

I use to live there and went to high school and Cabrillo college there.

I live 35 minutes from them now and they never seem to leave the beach or the forest(where their grows are)

Oh........I thought this was a meeting of the California Democrat Party. The clue that it wasn’t is that they have some really crazy ideas at the California Democrat Party meetings.

What amazes me is that she walked in and out on her own apparently! I wonder if she actually dresses herself, it would seem that she lacks the mental capacity to do it.
Come to think of it, isn’t it amazing that someone can have the ability to form words so readily and yet be utterly incapable of conveying any kind of discernible meaning with those words? She appears not to actually know what it is she is trying to say. I wonder if she can even remember an hour later that she had been there.

Then there was the woman I saw on TV here decades ago when the farmers were going bankrupt right and left, she was stopped for a “man on the street” interview and asked how she felt about the problems the farmers were having. She replied as follows,”I don’t worry about the farmers because I buy my food at the grocery store.” I swear I heard her say it, I will never forget it either. The biggest thing wrong with America is that these idiots are allowed to vote.
The more DOOBIES they smoked THE GREATER THE IDEAS that came forth.
