And it’s really heartening to think that a similar government bureaucracy is also going to manage Obamacare!

There is no problem so great that government cannot make it even worse.

Of course it did. Government did it.

Oil is a natural substance. It will clean itself up over time.

Oddly written.

BP was the one that used Corexit to 'clean up' the spill. The use of Corexit was questioned from the beginning.

The toxicity was observed 2.6 percent, a concentration thwas much higher than the real word. More junk science.

“The cleanup technique used by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) following the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico actually made the spilled oil more than 50 times more toxic than doing nothing...”

In other words, the government performed at par, adhering to its usual standard of scr*wing the pooch.

Or, to speak more plainly, it exceeded by several hundred percent the Gold Standard of Idiocy set by the Keystone Kops of the Department of Homeland Security.

I’m not sure “natural news” is the best source of reliable information.

From what I could tell from the article, it’s not that the Corexit was toxic, or that the corexit had a chemical reaction with the oil and made the oil into something that was more toxic than oil.

Their complaint seems to be that oil in tiny droplets is more toxic to tiny organisms than oil in large clumps, because the tine droplets are more easily interacted with.

Their “solution” is to let the oil disperse naturally, although I would think that any dispersal will, at some point, disperse to the point where it is in small droplets.
