NEWCASTLE, Ontario, December 4, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A girl who identifies herself as a boy has been given permission to use the boy’s bathroom at her Ontario public high school.
Sixteen-year-old ‘James’ Spencer decided to change schools after she began dressing and acting like a boy. Officials at Clarke High School in Durham Region were at first reluctant to let the biological girl into the boy’s room, asking James to use a private washroom that required a key from the main office.
But James started a school-wide petition that eventually swayed the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board to let her have her way.
“We decided it would be most appropriate ... and that’s the direction we’ve taken,” said Martin Twiss, the board’s superintendent of education to The Star.
The School’s dress code policy states that students are to dress “neatly, in good taste, and in a manner which is appropriate for the school, workplace or an out-of-school activity.”
Pro-family leaders warned earlier this year that McGuinty’s Equity and Inclusive Education (EIE) strategy would require school boards across the province to adopt policies that recognize special rights for self-identified homosexuals, transsexuals, and transgenders.
The EIE strategy, coupled with the passage of Bill 33 in June which add “gender identity” and “gender expression” as prohibited grounds for discrimination in the province, has “set the table for activism,” one critic told LifeSiteNews.
“Radical gay activists — inside and outside of the government — pushed to create a legal apparatus for their agenda,” said Jack Fonseca, project manager for Campaign Life Coalition to LifeSiteNews. “They have now began to push their ideas on children, prodding them to demand these crazy things as a ‘right’ with the backing of the newly created legal apparatus.”
Backers of Ontario’s Bill 33 boasted at the time that the bill would open the doors to “social change”.
But critics warned that the bill would result in social change that would threaten people’s safety by allowing men who dress and look like women to use public bathrooms, change rooms, and showers intended for women.
“This will represent a serious invasion of privacy and security for young girls and women. Imagine how it will put young girls and women at risk of being ‘peeped’ at or even assaulted by men who dress as women so that they can get closer to females.”
Last month a Washington state college decided it would not prevent a 45-year-old man who presents himself as a transgender “female” from lounging naked in a women’s locker room, in an area frequented by girls as young as six. Teenage girls on a high school swim team were using the facilities in September when they saw ‘Colleen’ Francis exposing male genitalia through the glass window in a sauna.
Former transsexual Walt Heyer told LifeSiteNews earlier this year that people who identify themselves as transgender suffer from a “diagnosable disorder” and that laws should not be enacted that encourage people in their disorders.
“It is so appalling to me, as a former trans person, that lawmakers today, who are motivated by sexual activists, are willing to legislate that society accept people who need psychiatric care,” said Heyer.
Heyer suggested that a more helpful alternative for people struggling with their sexual identity would be for lawmakers to “make available more accurate psychological treatment.”
Fonseca agrees with Heyer: “It is sickening to think of the harm caused directly to individuals who are encouraged to pretend they are the opposite sex. Schools are now cooperating in the psychological abuse of children.”
Fonseca worries that this kind of “social change” does not bode well for the future.
“If the state can make you profess against your conscience that a biological male is not really a man, what can’t the state compel you to do?”

Good observation. People once had to stay busy producing food or money to buy food; so had little time for foolishness after they’d satisfied their hunger; now the food stamps solve that “problem”. Of course, they’re settling for mighty skimpy eating.
When this girls is physically and sexually assaulted, she has no one to blame but herself.

The person who does the assault is still a criminal thug better off out of society. I don’t blame the victim for the crime itself, I do blame the victim sometimes when they literally ask and beg for it.
I suspect that enablers of these fantasy identity perversions are compensating for horrific mental or physical abuse suffered by these confused (destroyed) individuals.
They are conspicuously disinterested in uncovering the reasons for the sexual mis-identity, and instead embrace the dysfunction. Seems more like severe denial... let the poor kid live a miserable lie than root out the cause.
I was reading one transgender kid story a few months back and the background (mentioned in the context of “normal” family upbringing) was that the poor girl watched (in terror, no doubt) for years as her older sister was forced by the parents to wear girlie-girl dresses/outfits. Screaming, crying, the mother on an all-out power trip, the works.
It wasn’t hard to figure out that the younger one’s coping mechanism was to escape the dress code horror by insisting she was a boy so as not to be forceably dolled up in stupid ruffles. (I think there was a brother. He was left alone. Peace for boys; terror for girls.)
Instead of the parents admitting how *they* traumatized their children (esp. the younger one) with the clothing bullying (it sure appeared to be extreme and relentless, not just a matter of wanting a kid to dress for a special occasion), they embraced the damaged mental state they inflicted upon their own daughter. Oh yeah, great parents... so strong in standing in her defense. Absolutely sickening.
Behind every transgender and/or homosexual there is a high probablity of abuse. The perps are covering for themselves by attempting to normalize the damage they cause.
I’ll ping this out tomorrow. I remember not too long ago reading about a boy who “identified” with being a girl. Surprise, surprise - his grandmother always called him a girl and dressed him in girl’s clothing. I remember some studies a few years back and about 80% of homosexuals admitted to being molested by an older homosexual as children or teenagers. Homosexuals are made, not born.
The one example with the Mommy Dearest parent was particularly disturbing, because the mother was casually describing having these abuse-level power battles with the girls, as if it were perfectly normal, and that the younger one didn’t want to dress like a girl but like a boy instead. Well hellllo... the poor child was desperate to avoid ABUSE the only way she could figure, by insisting that she was a boy.
That one may have been “only” a destructive power trip (with no sexual issues per se), but who knows if the parent was punishing the girls for being girls. Too often these cases reveal parents who raise a child as the sex of the child they wanted, instead of the one they got.
Are these sorts of pathologies new, or was it that in the past, wacko parents like that were spotted by caring relatives and the children pulled out of those environments, and/or crazy mothers were dispatched to the loony bins.

We’ll have to call it False Identity Behavior (FIB) for making it sound palatable.
We as a society should not be reinforcing this False Identity, we should be trying to bring them into a Real World Association (RWA). Sounds technicial and official and I just made it up, Psychiatrists are ALL quacks.
These people with Fantasy Indentity Behaviors (FIB) are suffering from a lack of association with the real world, there has got to be some therapy to fix. Real World Association (RWA) links that were broken by Cognitive Traumatic Stress (CTS) such as you described need to be realigned.
Attempting to change reality to fit their Fantasy Identity Altered Environment (FIAE) is a recipe for disaster. Okay, I will admit that some of these past therapists meant well because they wanted to make it possible for the patient to associate with the real world even in an altered way but this is not working well at all. For anyone.
You cannot change reality to suit their disorder because it is simply impossible to have a different reality for everyone.
We must find a way to change the Fantasy Indentity to one that has some alignment with reality. You do not do this by accomodating the illness instead of the patient. Reinforcing the idea that their Fantasy Indentity is the real one just drives them farther away from getting the help they truly need.
Let us play psychiatrist. It’s easy, those crazy quacks do it everyday. The people running this country do not live in reality. They believe you can spend more than you make into eternity without negative consequences. It’s not just them, but “leftists” and other utopians (libertarians, monarchists, anarchists, “transgenders” etc) that live in a fantasy world.
It might be mommy or daddy’s fault. Maybe they really wanted a girl and they had you instead (or whatever) so they put all their hopes and dreams on you, forcing you to comply at least outwardly while on the inside you coped by creating your own world. “I’m a girl”, “I’m a boy”, “I’m a cat”, “I’m superman”.
Imagine mommy and daddy and psychonuts and “counselors” who said Yes, honey, you really are a cat. They go to court to have the school allow you to attend as a cat, to change the dress code so you can wear a collar with a little bell. They tell the world that you really are a cat because you wanted to be a cat. The demand laws be passed for Cat Identity types to be declared “normal”...
Your environment (mom, dad, school, pyschoworkers, therapists and politic activists) has conditioned a weak, defenseless you to be taken and molded into a person who demands the world tell him he really is a cat, that reality be denied just to make you feel normal. You need this because you have been conditioned to not be normal.

Just change cat to "American", the collar and bell for one of those BO "Made in the USA" t-shirts and we are already there. The cats already vote with the same abandon as their happy dancing on a keyboard.
Very interesting discussion. I think that another element in the current proliferation of False Identity is that its cultural cachet is inviting more and more attention-seeking adults to project it on their children.
It is normal for young children, 2-6 years old, to be unclear about sex distinction and (social) gender markers. My Patrick didn’t have his hair cut until he was almost 3, and by then it had grown quite long; it was very curly, so the length was obvious only when it was being washed. For a while when he was 4 or 5, he would talk about things that happened “when I was a girl,” by which he meant before his hair was cut. My friend’s little boy, with three older sisters, would pretend he was a girl because he wanted to go to Girl Scouts meetings, where there was always a snack. (She made him a t-shirt that said “Troop 123’s Little Brother,” and gave him snacks!)
Sometimes boys who want to dress up will put on girls’ dress-up costumes or clothes, simply because they’re available. If you provide a ninja costume and a soldier outfit, the same boy will choose those. All these incidents can simply be left behind as the child grows and becomes more clear as to his/her biological sex and social gender, if parents treat them simply as something that comes up. “Oh, Frank, I see you want to dress up. Here, you can be an Italian assassin, like in Tom’s game, instead of a princess. Here’s your dagger!”
However, if the parents have been watching daytime tv and say, “Ooooooh, look! He’s TRANSGENDERED, just like that boy on Oprah!!!” they can program their son into a nutcase and cause him horrific problems for the rest of his life. Something that contributes to this is that our society has so narrowly defined the masculine gender, so that personalities or interests outside an extremely constricted range are treated as “feminine” in a boy. When I was a child in the 60s and 70s, there was a much wider range of acceptable appearance, behavior, and interests for the feminine gender, but nowadays, about all that’s socially acceptable for girls, even in infancy, is “sex object.” It’s not surprising that girls would want to break out of that ... and then run into adults saying, “Look she thinks she’s a boy ... she’s TRANSGENDERED, like that kid on ‘Regis and Kelly’!”
