“Uh, no. I don’t think of you as a “gal,” at all. I think of you as an idiot.”

You really are amusing rudeboy. I do admire you for trying everything to intimidate me...Christian bashing, woman bashing, oh and now apparently I am an idiot. Oh now I am in a corner crying LOL!! I really don’t have an argument with you because I thing you are just trying to argue to hear your echo. Good luck with getting chicks with the whole “listen up sweetheart” line.

You think very highly of yourself. This wasn't a Christian-bashing, or woman-bashing thread until you went full retard.

Indeed; the company shows generosity now; a generosity that the boy will remember (He’ll be a LEGO customer for life, no doubt.)

Conservative business owners understand that business is about both being profitable and treating the customer well.

It’s a shame you don’t remember the company name now; perhaps they are still in business, but have modernized their product line. I’m sure lots of Freeper parents would love to patronize such a service-oriented business.

Now you have moved on to calling me a retard? Really rudeboy you are a bit unhinged when things don’t go your way. I believe I have made my position clear that I think the father is doing a disservice to his young son by rewarding direct disobedience. I wonder why you find this simple conservative position so worthy of your disdain?

LEGO Finds Spare Discontinued Set So Boy Who Saved Up For 2 Years Wouldn’t Be Disappointed.

Cross-posted your thread here. Damn kid. Even with Asperger's, he should be made to understand that he didn't earn the train set. It's in the Bible. /s

Because it is not demonstrably more conservative, in light of the alternatives, and I don't like being called a liberal? Perhaps you should not start hurling that epithet around unless you're willing to deal with some blowback. If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen, so to speak. [snark]

Do you really think you are intimidating rudeboy with your cocky talk LOL!! You honestly sound like you are auditioning for a western parody. Next I expect you to quote some line from Dirty Harry. BTW liberals main fall back position is cursing and name calling so if the MO fits maybe you should wear it proudly.

It sounds like your cousins have a job well suited to them. It’s a beautiful thing when people are working a job that allows them to fully use their passions and strengths.

I had 5 dozen cloth diapers for 4 kids in 5 years. I daren’t think about how many diapers that I’ve washed and folded. I actually shed a tear when the last diaper went into the rag bag. I think that happened when the youngest was about 6. Those multi-washed diapers made wonderful rags for polishing shoes, polishing furniture, and other household tasks.

One thing that I’ve noticed with my grandchildren is that they don’t become toilet trained as easily as my own kids did. I blame the disposable diapers that the GKs wear. They feel dry to them, even when they are wet, so it’s harder to catch them “in the act”. But, the advantage is that I think that diaper rash is almost a thing of the past.

I've got a good memory, but asking me to back track 50+ years for something so trivial is a little over the top! LOL. Reaching into the recesses of my mind, I come up with something like Unity (or maybe it was Utica) and the company could have been in NY, but I wouldn't swear to it. I'm sure that they've been sold several times over, in the intervening years.

The reason I wanted “real” diapers was because I didn’t want my little angels to have diaper rash and they never did. Maybe I was just neurotic and changed them too often? Who knows, but I wouldn’t go back and change that if I could. (Still waiting on the grands). You’re right about the rags .. there really is nothing better!

Apparently some little boys are more entitled to make requests of corporations than others. ;)
