I have an original Ruger Blackhawk from about ‘65 in my desk drawer next to me. Oiled and in a dry environment it would still fire 1k years from now if the springs are left untensioned.

So many questions... just one”

What happened to those 20-30 people supposedly rescued from that compound? They disappeared down a rabbit hole.

“likely to engage in conduct that would result in serious harm to self or others.”

If so, they need to be immediately hospitalized yes?

In that case, since they don’t go to the hospital w/weapons, and are released when they are no longer a danger, there is no need to restrict weapons on this basis.

They won’t have them in the hospital.

More people are asking that question all the time. I sure hope they didn't end up in Algeria the same way the weapons got there.

John Kass

Doctor probes teen on guns in the home - January 23, 2013 - In pro-gun-regulation Illinois — where politicians would rather play gun control politics than fight the murderous street gangs — a young man was admitted to the hospital.

I remember reading "Catch 22" years ago.

An excerpt found online sums up the mental health issue: "There was only one catch and that was Catch-22, which specified that a concern for one's safety in the face of dangers that were real and immediate was the process of a rational mind. Orr was crazy and could be grounded. All he had to do was ask; and as soon as he did, he would no longer be crazy and would have to fly more missions. Orr would be crazy to fly more missions and sane if he didn't, but if he were sane he had to fly them. If he flew them he was crazy and didn't have to; but if he didn't want to he was sane and had to. Yossarian was moved very deeply by the absolute simplicity of this clause of Catch-22 and let out a respectful whistle."

Basically, if you want to own a gun, you will be deemed unstable and be unable to purchase one. If you don't want one, you will be deemed sane, and will be able to purchase one.

Hitlery’s testimony: “Those were just unsubstantiated reports. They never actually existed. We’ve accounted for everyone. I have a headache from my fall. My mind is Jell-O.”

I happen to agree that the crazy should not have access to guns. I also think they should not have access to knives, razors, ropes, or heavy objects. In short, they should be (kindly) incarcerated in a facility which watches them and keeps them under control. I don’t want them hogtied, abused, or neglected. Just controlled.

There would be no need for a “crazy people can’t have guns” law if we would just benevolently hold those among us who have lost their minds.

But no, we have to let them wander about, hurting and being hurt. So now we need laws to keep guns out of “their” hands, which will translate to our hands, soon enough.

“Sign nothing, say nothing, do nothing.

Your best bet is to just stay away from the doctor.”

Really? Die of pneumonia to prove a point? I don’t think so.

Sometimes it is better to be quiet. But silence does equal consent, or it is perceived to be consent, so there really is a need to speak up, too.

“What happened to those 20-30 people supposedly rescued from that compound? They disappeared down a rabbit hole.”

I have wondered that more than anything. I hope it comes out today.

My best guess is, they were all spies, or spy support staff, and thus disappeared. But that’s a guess.
