Law Enforcement Targets, Inc., a company that sells law enforcement and federal agencies realistic paper targets for firearms training, is providing the Department of Homeland Security with images of non-traditional threats.
The people in these images are most likely Americans, with such images as pregnant woman threat, older man with shotgun, older man in home with shotgun, older woman with gun, young school aged girl, young mother on playground, and little boy with real gun, writes Paul Joseph Watson on Tuesday.
View slideshow: Law Enforcement Target's Non-Traditional Threat targets It would appear as if this company is trying to help police and law enforcement prepare for fighting Americans. As Watson points out, there would have to be a demand among the agencies to which the company sells in order to put these products on the market.
Law Enforcement Targets Web site declares that these targets are designed to give officers the experience of dealing with deadly force shooting scenarios with subjects that are not the norm during training, and are meant to help the transition for officers who are faced with these highly unusual targets for the first time.
The line of images is called "No More Hesitation," implying that law enforcement shouldn't hesitate to kill these people just because they're Americans.
Speculation that the DHS is preparing for fighting within the United States has abounded for some time. Over the last year, the department has purchased nearly 2 billion rounds of hollow point ammunition of various calibers, enough to fight a 30 year war and shoot every American man, woman and child four times.

If you'll check the target sizes listed at the webpage posted here on FR, you'll note there are also other sized targets for sale that aren't appreciably larger than 23"x35".
RE your #139; Be careful.
Some years ago I was chatting with a gun store owner in NH who told me that someone had made up some photocopied pictures of the Slickster with a bulls eye on them, which he had laying on the counter as a joke... until a BATFE Agent swaggered in and told him on no uncertain terms to make them go away as it is apparently a federal felony to even possess a depiction of the POTUS which can be construed to be a target, much less get caught shooting at one.
He was talking hard time in Club Fed and loss of gun rights for life.
I don’t know if that applies to other politicians as well, but if you shoot anywhere where a fed or untrusted LEO is even apt to show up or be surveiling you I wouldn’t advise pushing your luck.
They can shoot at pictures of us, but they’d better not catch us shooting at pictures of them.
Some animals are more equal than others, you know.
I've never had the opportunity to shoot indoors. I do my shooting outdoors where I do my hunting.
I don’t need no steenking targets. I was a natural shot from day 1. ;-)
And he was a nutcase.
What exactly will they be looking for when there are 100+++ guys looking for
their one shot of opportunity then melting back into the background of the city?
If it was a hoax, then why do they have an apology for said ‘hoax’ on the front page of their web site?
This is what you people aren’t quite getting. If this were a hoax, then why are they apologizing for it? If it were a hoax, then someone has gone to pretty great lengths to create a company, a product and a marketing campaign in the furtherance of said hoax. This would be one of the better hoaxes since the Piltdown Man.
The people here on FR who keep thinking it is some hoax are fooling themselves. To quote you:
“... would a professional company, who had just scored a lucrative government contract, allow such glaring adolescent errors...?”
The answer is “yes.” After all, this is the same company that peddles “reactive” target augmentation to make your targets “bleed” and has zombie targets. You want adolescent, there you go. Who, in their right mind in the gun business, peddles some product to make paper targets “bleed?” Where’s the upside in training for the negative PR that brings?
Here’s their PR clip:
“EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTOR of the Pink Mist Tech “Blood Pack”. Pink Mist is a revolutionary new product that instantly turns ANY paper target into a reactive BLEEDING target. Easily identify a good hit with realistic splattering of blood. Perfect for Law Enforcement, Military, as well as enthusiasts who are partial to Zombie and Animal targets. Also works great under a light colored T-Shirt for even more realism”
WTF? Really? I’ve been on dozens and dozens of ranges in my life, and my first reaction is “Who is going to clean that crap up?” My second reaction is “What a freakin’ PR disaster that is!”
And the zombie target crap? Yea, that’s always impressed me. If I could deliver a huge collective pimp-slap to the people that thought that crap up, I’d do it all day long for exercise.
I spend as little time there as possible. I don't like hot weather, dirty air and water, crowds, cities, traffic, filth, vermin, fleas, ticks and skunks, especially the two-legged variety.
resent being dictated to by people who are seemingly corrupt and have not one shred of common sense.
Additional reasons why I left.
They’re always surprised
for the same reason that every liberal you talk to
that you point out the inevitability of the policies that they espouse turning into a collectivist tyranny
will respond with “that’s not what we’re trying to do”
and “that won’t happen this time because we’re smarter”.
Great video, thanks for the link.
Right, because they never get trigger happy now anyway...oh wait.
GOOD to see you, MarMema!
God bless and keep you.
No Hesitation poster for the upcoming gun grab?
Ah yes. I remember how much flack a certain late late evening TV show host got for his “snipers needed” depiction of W with cross-hairs...
The cops plan on the soldiers being on their side.
They don’t need those. They aren’t an unusual target.
Oboma believes he's Lincoln. He believes he's fighting a civil war. He believes America is unjust for some insane reason. He's agitating, and trying to get one side - the gun owning right wing - riled up enough to lash out. Unfortunately so far, all the killers and mass murders have been democrats.
He can't get to where he wants to go, the winner of the war, unless we cooperate and start a war. He must be getting pretty frustrated we're not being "nudged" into the direction he wants us to go. Agitating has always worked for him before.
That immediately popped into my mind too.
Thanks for the link!
I contend that the least-bad option in this situation is to retreat. These shoot/don't shoot posters are used in training with the general assumption that the participant has just entered a room to find the scene depicted in the target. It might be a legitimate shoot if her gun were pointed at someone else, but not at the viewer. A pregnant woman in this context represents an armed person acting defensively. Even a challenge to the pregnant women to disarm in such a situation would likely only escalate the situation further if she felt she were defending her children, especially if she were illuminated with a bright light. Officers need to be taught that tactical retreat would be the best option in the situation depicted in this target, not that they should shoot without regard to context.
Although much of modern law enforcement tactical training is aimed at overcoming the instinct to hesitate, the situations in these targets go too far. This particular kind of desensitization training can also cause police casualties in another way. A decent law enforcement office who ends up actually shooting a pregnant woman in her own nursery is likely to end up shooting himself several years later, usually after turning to alcohol or other drugs and destroying his family. I knew several police officers whose lives and whose families' lives have been ruined this way from similar situations. The administration that buys targets like these does a grave disservice to their officers.
every single one of these series of targets, every one posted here, is a white person.
this is not coincidental.
